The D1 Hostel is located on 80 Lower Gardiner Street, the main street for accommodation in Dublin City Center. The hostel is based in a listed Georgian building with many of it's old features intact.

Dublin's central bus station is 100 meters around the corner from the Hostel at Store Street. The main train station, Connolly Station which serves Belfast, Sligo and suburban Dublin is a 5 minute walk away.

Croke Park, which hosts Gaelic football, conferences and concerts is only a 15 minute walk away from the Hostel.

Trinity College & The Book of Kells is 5 minutes walk away as is Temple Bar, the main district for pubs and nightlife in the city.
