Liked: Very affordable private rooms. Also very quiet this time of year - only a few others staying in this half of the hostel - the other half has the rowdier dorms.

Disliked: Some of the showers didn't work very well, but I found one that was okay.

Disliked: Booked for new year via hostelbookers, the hostel didnt do their administration so me and my boyfriend ended up in a double bed with another bed on top. So romantic. The other couple we were travelling with were missing the door between their ensuite and bedroom and it was a very filthy room.

Liked: The bird in the reception area and the location - we could easily walk to the city centre.

Disliked: We were very disappointed with the first room we were given. It was very small and dark with old net curtains hanging precariously across a small window with a terrible view over the garage. There was mould growing over the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom had not been cleaned (hairs were left over the sink & in the shower) and the taps leaked. Having said that, we were moved to a different room which was much more in line with what we were expecting. Larger with a nice view over the front and comfortable beds.

Liked: This Hostel is cheap, and the breakfast is honest : everyone help himself, there is enough food.

Disliked: The doors of the rooms can't be locked. Rooms smell musty. the staff is not welcoming. Beds were not ready when we arrived (we have booked). Light only in one bathroom (there were two bathrooms for 12 peoples with one toilet and one shower in each).

Liked: Good location and hot showers. Beds were also very comfy :)

Disliked: Very dirty, rubbish left in the room from previous residents and hair all over the shower. Had to clean the place before we could settle!

Liked: I was really impressed, it was my first stay in a hostel and it was hassel free. We also had a bathroom, which we were not expecting which was great. Good location too!

Disliked: Just one of the top bunks was a bit unsafe as the safety bar was not fixed to the bed frame.

Liked: It was not to far away from the city center. We had a sink in our room.

Disliked: We were staying on the ground floor and had to go up stairs to have a shower.

Liked: The accomodation is close to the city centre. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was absolutely OK.

Disliked: The bathroom (ensuit) was extremely small and the shower was broken and uncomfortable. There was no toilet in the bathroom (only on the gang) and the bathroom facilities were extremely dirty.

Liked: the kitchen

Disliked: the way the window handle came off and nearly fell on my bare foot. there was no remote and had to pay 10 euro deposit to get one. the internet didn't work on the computer and the staff member was rude and unfriendly when asked about it. the water was cold in the shower and there was an automatic tap to turn off the water. when it came on again it was far too hot. the bed was much smaller than the matress and my back ached for days after i was there. i send a letter of complaint to the property followed by an email. i got no reply to either

Liked: Our double room was modern, clean & much nicer than we expected for the cheap price. We were away from the main hustle of the hostel so its great for couples as well as groups of friends.

Disliked: we asked for a recommendation of where to eat on the first night & were told to eat in the hostels 'restaurant' aka the kebab shop next door....

Liked: The customer service horrible, terrible, just a guy named Ajay was the only one who took care of us the right way. The rest of the staff were unaware of when we went to book and another wanted to defraud

Liked: The location was decent. We did not use the kitchen but it appeared well equipped. Locker rental and luggage storage was reasonable.

Disliked: We weren't expecting anything special but for the price we paid the hostel was incredibly unclean. Several of my group stayed in a separate room and neglected to check their beds for cleanliness; that night they discovered the sheets were covered in hair. The staff was very unhelpful and never changed the sheets. I stayed in the large dorm and a traveler had a similar problem. This led to a loud and lighted argument between he and the hostel staff in the room at 2 in the morning, very inconsiderate of the staff member. This is not a huge critique, but the bathrooms need liquid soap and much better shower controls.
