Great kitchen facilities, really friendly staff (one lent me a lonely planet for the night). The lounges could be better though...and smoke seems to drift out of the smoking one to the rest of the place.

The tv room and the smoking room
4 July 2006
The TV lounge was nice - especially since there was a seperate one for the smokers, but the kitchen left a few things to be desired as it was not overly clean and there were not quite enough pots and pans if things got busy. It was however in an absolutely fabulous location. It was right where i needed to be in Dublin and mearly across the river from the hoppin Temple Bar area.

Depsite my orignal booking being for two in a 4 bed dormitry....our booking was upgraded to a one bedroomed apartment in central dublin that the hostel has access too. we weren't charged any extra, and the apartment was very clean, and very homely! with access to all mod cons..would be very happy to recommended this type of accommodation
