Customer reviewThe Hostel was in a good location and looked really nice from the outside. They did have internet on three computers but there was always a wait to use it and the skype did not work well. The rooms were VERY narrow so it made it awkward to come in and out with other guests staying there. They refused to return a deposit I made on a converter claiming they did not take deposits for them but I know that I paid one. We never attended breakfast because the pizza shop next door where it was served did not look very appetizing. The staff wasn't very helpful about what to do or where to go. At one point we were locked out of our rooms at 3 am because our keys wouldn't work and were told they would fix it in the morning. Having been given a bandaid for a cut the night before I went to reception hoping to get another one and was told they didn't have bandaids without her even looking for one. In general there were a lot more older travelers staying here than younger ones and I think there are better hostels in Dublin that I would be willing to pay a few euro more and walk a few more blocks to stay in. |

Jennifer PooreThis hostel overall wasn't that great. The staff seemed to be a bit rude. It was not clean. It was nice to have locked storage of our belongings under our beds. There were a lot of older people staying there so meeting young people was kind of an issue. The rooms were really narrow, which made meeting people and moving through the room weird as well. The breakfast wasn't even in the hostel itself, but next door at this pizza place. Kind of unusual. Free wi-fi and internet downstairs in the lounge but the connection was REALLY slow. The staff was really grouchy when we asked them questions and didn't really give us answers to simple questions like "What's the best pub closest to the hostel?". Definitely not up to par! |

Customer reviewThe best of Abbey Hostel is the location, just in the center of Dublin. Also the staff was nice and helpful, especially "Engel". The less positive were that rooms are so narrow and floors seems dirty, although it wasn´t. Other things negative were noise and dirt of three girls of Galway. |

Customer reviewThe location was excellent and very central for Temple Bar, the DART, Tour buses etc. Staff could've been a bit friendlier though! |

Customer reviewThe magnificent facade promised a lot, and the hostel fulfilled it. Gorgeous location, very clean and secure. Although the athmosphere was not extraordinary, I would highly recommend abbey court - especially when having a room directly to the liffey and the centre of DUB (even if it could get a bit noisy due to this fact). |
