Liked: Friendly and atmospheric. Stayed in 8 bed dorm but was quite spacious. Free toast breakfast downstairs. Only 10 minutes from Temple Bar and Trinity College.

Disliked: No lockers in room but just bring padlock!

Liked: liked the cleaniness of the bathroom. old building but very nice. perfect hostel for young people who wanna save money and get a clean place to sleep with a good location. even toast and tea/coffe for breakfast is included in the price. would totally recommend to stay there if you are on a sightseeing and partying trip.

Disliked: walls are very thin so you hear the people next door or people coming home at night (we didn't care cause we were out partying too).

Liked: A staff in reception was really kind. Inside is so big.

Disliked: Too old building(even it's huge) -> old shower system

Liked: The host when we first got there was extremely helpful in planning out our day. He talked us into the free walking tour instead of the bus tour that cost 14 euro, and it was the best tour I have ever had. It was fun, interesting, and showed us the city from historical point of view.

Disliked: We booked the cheapest thing we could find; 3rd floor and 12 bed (I think) room. The man we shared it with was really nice, but he was really loud. Pretty sure I counted over 80 stairs to get up to the room, which is fine in the morning, but after a full day of walking around the city it is hard to get up there! Maybe a little bit more warning on that.

Disliked: It's a little bit out of the way, but not too far from the central.

Disliked: it was quiet noisey, as people stood in the hallways talking instead of using the common areas

Liked: The lady on the front desk was very helpful and told me everything that i asked. Some regular stayers here due to work & were all very nice & friendly.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: I stayed at this hostel for two nights in a large mixed dorm. It wasn't beautiful or anything but I wasn't expecting that. It was very cheap and in a good location so I can't complain. HOWEVER, I booked this through hostlebookers.com and the reservation didn't go through, luckily they could accommodate us anyway, but the point is do not book this through this website! Book directly with Mount Eccles.
