Important Information

groups must pay in full 4 weeks prior to arrival and that we take a security deposit for any groups of 10 people or more. Please note we have a 48hour cancellation policy, all cancellations must be received before 2pm two days before arrival otherwise they will be charged a cancellation charge of the first night's accommodation. During busy period you could be asked to change room however your room type will be honoured or upgraded. Children under 16 are not permitted to sleep in shared dorms. You must have passport or photo ID to check in. Ashfield Hostel is a tourist hostel, for short-term stays only (14 night maximum stay). Hostel Management reserves the right to cancel or amend a booking for anti-social behaviour towards hostel staff and/or guests, or non-adherence to our terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival (local time). Payments made to HostelBookers are non-refundable.

About Ashfield Hostel

Ashfield house has been welcoming international visitors since 1995, however the building has been welcoming visitors since its construction in 1832. The present building went through various stages of occupation from a hotel to an army and navy store, a restaurant and then a church until 1995 when the building was converted into its present form.

The friendly, experienced staff at Ashfield House is on hand to offer you all the advice you would need during your stay with us - we look forward to accommodating you!

During busy periods, Ashfield House may ask you to move rooms (to a room of the same type, or an upgrade).
