Liked: Although the room was cold due to the windows being left open and the heating not working they gave us a small heater.

Disliked: Shower was very poor and was not actaully a shower. It was just a shower head in a room with a toilet and the whole bathroom fills up with water when used.

Liked: Really nice location in the center, close to temple bar. The people there were very friendly and they helped us with everything. They were very organised and the facilities were more than what i expected.

Disliked: It was a bit noisy, probably because the room was looking on the street.

Liked: The staff was really friendly and they are in a good location.

Disliked: The showers were a little weird.

Liked: Friendly and very helpful staff, happy with the location, close to main city area, night life, Linen included, breakfast included, clean rooms.

Disliked: Showers were buttons you push that dont last very long, no way to adjust temp, have to push it a few times for it to get warmer male and female separate. Toilets, there was only 2 cubicles on my floor for many rooms - male/female combined.

Liked: I absolutely LOVED Kinlay House, it really exceeded my expectations and I ended up cancelling my other Dublin Hostel and staying another 3 nights at Kinlay. Everything is great- the hostel vibe is perfect, it looks cool on the inside, loads of personality, and so easy to meet fun people! Not to mention the awesome location, you're right next to Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Temple Bar District, and only a little further away is Grafton Street and all that! I would even go so far as to say that Kinlay House really made my trip to Dublin. There were days/nights I was supposed to spend alone waiting up for friends coming in, and I thought that would be really slow and lonely and pathetic, but the great thing about Kinlay House is there was always someone new to meet, never a dull moment really! Kinlay House is my fave hostel, it was really pretty sad to leave.

Disliked: Nothing. I love Kinlay House.

Liked: spacious. lots of services not offered by other hostels e.g. pool table, ping pong table, dvds and most importantly free unlimited breakfasts!!! other facilities such as large cages for property all at very reasonable costs.

Disliked: a slight criticism is that with other hostels there is more character. the people who own it are always around and very welcoming. with this hostel i didn't know who was running it. there were different travellers behind the desk every night. however that is a very slight complaint seeing as the accomodation was so cheap and such excellent value for money.

Liked: I've stayed at Kinlay House a couple of times before- I would definitely and have already recommended it to others. I love the free internet, free breakfast, and the large dining room and kitchen.

Disliked: I forgot that the bathrooms are co-ed. Not a big deal for me, but might be for some people.

Liked: It's a such lovely place! Cute drawings on the wall! definitely like it!!!

Disliked: have to queue for internet during the night

Liked: The friendly staff always ready to help with whatever problem we had, the incredibly nice interior with colorful walls and cute notes everywhere in the kitchen informing about how things work, and the courtyard!

Disliked: The drain! The water took ages to get hot and to run out of the sink, so there was often a nice pool of used washing water in there.

Liked: The location was great, staff had a sense of humor, the building had character, and the room was generally clean.

Disliked: There weren't lockers in the rooms. This is rare in a hostel and they should consider adding lockers.

Liked: The beds were comfortable and clean, the games room was cosy and friendly, good music, clean kitchen good breakfast, good plae to meet people and good access to the town and temple bar.

Disliked: not a lot just very minar details that when you look at it in a bigger light you understand why the little thing dont always compare to what you had at home

Liked: Very nice building, with funny painting and warm colors, cool staff and atmosphere. Good place to have fun with your friends cheaply.

Liked: Simple clean and friendly staff. The showers on floor two are way better :)

Liked: Good value for the price you pay. The accomodation was very basic, the room's furniture and the bathroom were trully old but clean. If you are looking for the hostel just to sleep in and can appreciate a really beutiful building and a wooden staircase - perfect choice.

Disliked: In a 4-bed room, could be one more chair to dry a towel or put some clothes.

Liked: The Location! And how clean it was. I also felt very safe because everyone had to show a security pass to get in, so I knew everyone was staying there, and that no one could just wander in.

Disliked: The bathrooms were not very clean.
