Location and service. No Hot water though. Breakfast is Toast and Cereal. Small Private Twin (bunk beds) not a lot of room to store bags. Suit for small bags/short stays. Would have trouble with big backpacks

They have a problem with my book, they give my room to another people and relocate to me in other room , the other room was with more people, very small very far, last floor , last room, and the same price. NOT RECCOMENDED

Simple hostel, possibly overpriced for such a hostel. Other similar hostels in the area are cheeper.

rooms were clean but could be aired as they were a bit smelly. staff helpful and friendly. easy to get to/from the airport. internet very slow. day baggage storage not as organised/safe as it should be... people are trusted to put in & collect their belongings. facilities basic but all you need when you are there just to sleep :)

The staff was nice enough. But if you are not the name on the room it is difficult to get help. Like I had my name on two beds and the other person I was with came back at a different time and they were asked where I was and why wasn't I with them even though are beds were in different rooms.

Location was very good but for the size of the hostel the self catering facilities are way too small and the room we stayed in was very stuffy and noisy.

Paddy's Palace in Dublin was a good basic overnight stay - perfect for before or after a Paddywagon tour. It is very hostelly, as in plain, clean & simple, so it wouldn't be a place to stay for that long although if budgets are tight then it certainly suffices! It was located not far from the centre i.e. Temple Bar area - definitely walkable within 20 mins. It was safe inside the hostel as there was always someone who controlled who was let in at night. Would recommend this pre or post Paddywagon tour for sure!

The airport pick-up was great. This is where I started my backpacking journey and after a long flight a brainless trip to the hostel was welcome. The staff was very helpful and they offer many GREAT tours with very good value. Even on my Backpacker's budget I'm so glad I spent extra here in Ireland to venture outside of Dublin and see the amazing beauty here. Especially the Giant's Causeway tour. Every was clean and over-all the average basic facilities your expect from a nice hostel. Beds were pretty hard but clean and dorms are set up in a very safe way with locked access to each dorm building and your individual dorms. Some basic free breakfast too which is nice. Also some great pubs in the nearby area. Go to the Celt for some great traditional live Irish music, Guinness, good food, and great atmosphere. Try the smoked haddock chowder and the Jameson. Anyway I will stay here again when I return to Ireland and can't wait to do the other tours they host I did not have a chance to do. Good hostel and great value for the service they offer.
