Liked: Free bus transfer to hostel from airport is a great saver if on a tight budget. Staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast ok. Location of hostel near to centre and within walking distance of places of interest. I would go back to Paddys Palace.

Disliked: Rooms are located in seperate buildings from reception. Receptionist had to open exterior door to allow you access to your room which sometimes meant you would have to wait for several minutes. I suppose this was also intended as a security measure to prevent unauthorised access to this part of the hostel

Liked: Complete kitchen facilities and easy access to the hostel

Disliked: Staff friendliness and luggage security are still have room of improvement.

Liked: the free pick-up service from the airport, it was really easy to get to the airport at 5am.

Disliked: the staff wasn't fast, well, actually they were really slow and non-efficient. if you wanted to get in your room after 11pm, you had to ring the doorbell and wait till one of them felt like opening the door for you

Disliked: more restroom facilities would be nice. it was a bit hard to share what was available with the whole floor.

Liked: Central location, close to all that Dublin has to offer.!! Staff all super helpful, the free trip was fab, taking us to beautiful locations. Sam the tour guide told us all about the Irish history of the place, a very funny guy, he made the trip. The Hostel is very good value for money. Which was great because Ireland is SOOO expensive.. food booze ect.. but I loved the holiday

Disliked: The only thing thats a pain is that you have to go outside the hostel an go through another entrance to get to the bedrooms.. its a shame you couldent have an internal door, that links the bedrooms to the Hostel

Liked: Location was alright, 15 minutes leisurely walk to Temple Bar. The 'black' door was a little mission, getting the staff to open the door but they seemed to enjoy getting the door for us. Room was nice, had a sink. some have showers too. View was nice, our room was at the back so we had the privilege of not being woken up by the passing train. Toilets were nice, they employ a cleaner. Showers need to be pressed about every 15 seconds - the temperature is fine if you get up early enough, when other people are using the toilets the temperature changes, but it's bearable. The staff were amazing, being a group of 10 students, they sorted out trips and went the extra mile to make our stay truly inspiring. Kitchen Breakfast was good, had tea, coffee, oj, toast and cereal. Great atmosphere when everybody is cooking, but gets busy around dinner time. Tesco is a 10 min walk away. Has a PC you can use in the lounge area. Got a good deal as we were a group of 10. Free shuttle bus is a nice touch.

Disliked: For the price it's good but, paying a 5euro deposit for the door key is a little tedious. The free tour seems like you're in the bus for a long time, more stops on the way would be really nice. Would only recommend if you are staying for more than 3 days. But you can take some very nice photos! By the lake and climbing trees etc. The lounge area should have more seats to allow people to relax. The night porter was a really funny, he shouts at you to tell you other people are sleeping downstairs?

Liked: The tour driver was super relaxed, professional and friendly, so was the woman at the reception. She also did not hesitate to print my return flight boarding pass. Great people!

Disliked: The breakfast was ridiculous (toast with jam and some strange sweet syrup). The one indian looking receptionist was very impatient and unfriendly. The room and the showers were VERY basic with no places to store my stuff.

Disliked: In the first building with the red door the electricity stopped working. And the showers were disgusting with no hot water.

Liked: Close to downtown attractions and Temple Bar area by LUAS tram, busses, or walking. Includes fresh bedding and blankets. Includes a continental breakfast of toast, jellies, margerine, instant coffee, teas, milk, and cereals. Includes a free ride to the airport via the Paddywagon bus. If you stay two nights, it includes a free tour of Ireland also!

Disliked: There are a LOT of steps, and at some points there are no railings to hold onto while on the stairs. If you book the private twin room, it is a bunk bed. If you're assigned to the top floor, there are 69 steps total to get to the top!

Disliked: the doors to get into the place where all the rooms were. they are difficult to open, and i was often left standing there waiting for someone to buzz me in.

Liked: Great location!

Disliked: There were no lockers for my bag in the dorm rooms. Also the shower had great water pressure and was hot but you had to push a button every couple of seconds to start the flow of water again. Much like a sink in a public bathroom.

Liked: The property was in an excellent location and offered many services! It was comfortable, the kitchen was large, the staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fun spot to stay in Dublin.
