Liked: great value of money, great staffs, breakfast included

Disliked: No hot shower in the morning, but you could shower in the evening and there is hot water. Internet was not working, but you could go to Jacob's inn about 5 min walk, same hostel owner.

Liked: There were tons of activities offered like a free sauna each night and a pub crawl.

Disliked: There was a train that ran right past, so we closed the window at night to shut out the noise. But doing so, the room became extremely hot.

Liked: The location, atmosphere, friendly staff and all the services on offer (guided tour, movie nights, pub crawls, pool, board games, etc.) were a definite PLUS.

Disliked: The cold showers whether you use them early or not, and the heating being a bit too high to our taste.

Liked: Basically what you would expect from a hostel. Clean. Breakfast ain't much but better than nothing (cornflakes, toast, juice/coffee). Bathrooms very clean in contrast to some older posts. Staff seemed friendly enough to me. Tip: Instead of paying 6 euros for the aerobus or whatever from the airport, take the 41 dublin city bus from the airport for 2.65 euros to LAS stop (little abbey street?) and walk 1.5 blocks.

Disliked: Train rumbles by until about 1am. Can be an issue I guess. Have to pay for locker.

Liked: The location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from O'Connell Street and 10 minutes from Temple Bar. Also very easy to find when arriving in the city from the Airport. A Clean and Safe hostel with a hearty breakfast every morning and most conveniently free WiFi. A lovely basement with various activities.

Disliked: The beds are a bit creaky and matreses are a bit thin.

Liked: staff very indifferent for all the info's asked.the onl one very nice was the guy in the 7:30 - 15:30 shift, very helpful and great serving people

Disliked: at night staff , very unhelpful, not informing properly anything...

Liked: Free breakfast and lots of great deals on tours, etc.

Disliked: There was a rail line directly outside my room's window. The sound of the train passing every few minutes was disruptive.

Liked: Location. You can get to O'Connelly St. in about 5 minutes, Busaras bus station is about 2 minutes away and getting to the Temple Bar area is about 10 minutes walking. Also,

Disliked: No hot water, the floor felt like it was going to cave in at any moment, the beds were stiff and the bunks squeaked so much you could wake up the neighbors. The shared bathrooms were a bit dirty. Also, some of the staff members acted like they were too busy to help. The breakfast could have been better and getting your breakfast was very disorganized since it's in a commercial kitchen.

Liked: The 'common room' was a very lively place that allowed me to meet other people and the bar garden was a great place to get cheap beer and Guinness with music. Good facilities and breakfasts. Helpful staff and rooms with key card access only.

Disliked: Some rooms are adjacent to a tram line that makes quite a bit of noise until 11pm and starts again at around 7am, so can be quite annoying.

Liked: Friendly staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast and coffee, helpful staff.

Disliked: Not enough sinks in the girls bathroom, no topsheet for beds, lockers should be in rooms, not in the basement. Wasn't bad, just wasn't great.

Liked: Large hostel with some character. Rooms were relatively noisy as it is a happening neighbourhood.

Disliked: Housekeepers cleaned room and removed items whilst cleaning my bed. But fortunately they were recorded and stored in lost properly.

Liked: Central, friendly, have a good meeting room and had a nice barbeque. Good value

Disliked: No lockers in rooms, a very loud young crowd doing party at the floors in front of the room in 3rd floor waked all up. Nobody cared about that and it lasted long.

Liked: It was a pretty good location, only a few minutes walk from the center of town

Disliked: They didn't wash the doona covers. We watched them just remake the bed without washing them for new people to sleep in and also the kitchen wasn't very clean.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the cheap beer in the beer garden, great atmosphere and easy to meet people. The hostel also organises events like BBQ, walking tour and pub crawl. Nice, clean rooms, late checkout too.

Disliked: Breakfast finishes at 9:30, too early! And the showers are like prison showers; you have to push the button on the shower every 5 seconds, water flows from the top to bottom and there is nowhere to put your things. No lockers at all!

Liked: Quite clean, good common areas.

Disliked: Nothing is working well, from 3 computers only one working, sauna was bronken, some machines from laundry was bronken, one vending machine was broken.. The bedroom is near the rail, so its very noise sometimes. The bed its small, about my size, 1,80m. I dont my to press the buttom to shower but one shower turns off every 3 seconds..

Liked: Good location right by the central bus station. They have HUGE lockers in the basement, so you don't have to take your big bag all the way up to your room, plus they let me leave my bag while I traveled for a few days, which saved me a lot of hassle.

Disliked: nothing
