Well placed hostal, and a good staff, but the bedroom was just in front of the rail road, and it is a littlle creapy in the evening.

It was a good location but the key cards didn't work, bathrooms where disgusting and sleeping was nearly impossible because the floors and beds were so creaky!

The Issacs was good, had a good court yard, good kitchen, good space, good lounge / games room downstairs and a good room, safe, secure and nice soft bed. The location was excellent close to everything, the city center and the ever popular Temple Bar area. There was something vaguely clinical about it which sort of ruined its character a bit. Maybe it was the harsh, bright corridor lighting? There was a noise problem, if groups of people gathered in the corridors to talk loudly during sleeping hours you couldnt help but hear the noises everywhere. The internet was a bit harsh to, 1 euro for 15 min or 2 Euro for the half hour? Theres an internet cafe a block away offering the internet for 1 euro for a whole hour! The staff were very friendly and helpful though and the kitchen storage was a gem. An added bonus were the soft couches in the lounge room.

Meeting other people, internet available, close to bus station, walking distance to city centre. The acoustic isolation between the rooms is bad; a phone going off in the next room sounded as if it was in our room.

It's safe, it's convenient. Breakfast is bread and tea, and the deli next to it was not particularly cheap. My private room was supposed to have a semi-private bath, which simply wasn't there... pipes and no shower or toilet. The floors - very pretty wood, and clean, were extremely creaky, so anyone walking at night was annoying. The internet is only in the main room, where people also eat and hang out, so it could be tight, and it went in and out. Overall fine experience. Good location, and cheap. Friendly staff.

the room itself was brilliant, very nice facilities. Had a problem with the showers, because I was living on the 3rd floor therefore had to go downstairs for a shower....a bit akward... other than that, really impressed with the rooms, not so much with the "so called" breakfast... very poorly prepared. toast and jam is certainly not my idea of a breakfast. be prepared to bring your own food. other than that 6/10!!

There is a patio off to the side of the hostel that was nice for days when the weather was good, the lockers are pretty big, but 2 euro a night, and the rooms were pretty spacy and fairly clean. The location is quite far from the center of the city and right under a train track where the train comes by at about 5 in the morning and wakes you up. The breakfast was leaner than most hostels (just bread and jam and OJ) but the people are friendly.
