Liked: Great common areas (sit-in-yard, breakfast room, self-cook-kitchen, basement with couches and billiard) and a offered free tour through Dublin, which are both great for meeting other travelers, when traveling alone

Liked: Rooms were clean. Relatively empty (I was in an 8 room dorm with one other person) although that could have been because it was the beginning of April. One of the girls at reception was super kind and let me check in early from a 4am flight!

Disliked: The location isn´t that great. You´re on the North Side of Dublin and about a 5-10 minute walk from O´Connell Street. This part of the city doesn´t have as much to offer as the South although Dublin isn´t terribly big either (at least the tourist area isn´t). Also, it was really hot in our room. I tried to ask for a fan or something but there was nothing reception could do about it. Breakfast was there but it wasn´t that great... toast, corn flakes, orange juice (if you can call it juice), tea/coffee/drinking chocolate, and milk.

Liked: In the city centre, good location, clean and it is value for money.

Disliked: The wooden floor makes a lot of noices while people walking on it. It's fine during the day but not at night. The shower needed to be kept pushing the bottom in order to keep it running, which was not very convenient.

Liked: Good place to stay! The bathrooms are vey clean, and the place is very organised too.

Disliked: There were just two things that was not totaly good: There isn't lockers in the bedrooms just downstairs in the lugage room, and the other thing is that the blankets doesnt have any cover or linen.

Liked: It was what it said it was, clean people were happy to help. No question went unanswered. \no service asked for was not given. \the staff seemed happy and friendly

Disliked: Maybe the sauna could be open a bit longer. Its cold here tonight,and I may not be able to fit it in the hours its available.

Liked: It is excellently located for easy access to the main bus station as well as being a short walk away from O'Connell bridge and Temple Bar. It has great links to Dublin airport with the Airlink bus service. The rooms and the shared bathroom facilities were very clean.

Liked: Table tennis and pool.

Disliked: Breakfast finished at 0930 which is a bit early, the train line next to every window make things very noisy and the rooms are cramped so not much room for bags

Liked: Very close to the central bus station which makes it easy when arriving or leaving dublin. Free breakfast of toast, cereal, juice and tea/coffee. A lot of things on offer - walking tours, organised nights etc.

Disliked: No lockers in the dorm rooms - there were some down in the basement for a price which seemed an odd setup.

Liked: The bathrooms were very clean

Disliked: The door to our room didn't close properly which was annoying, there were only 3 showers and 3 toilets on our floor which led to overcrowded bathrooms & the staff were not overly friendly.

Liked: friendly and helpful staff, much things for free, like sauna, wifi and breakfast.

Disliked: it is badly soundproofed. you hear nearly a coin is falling in the neighbor-room.

Liked: Superb staff, great location, very clean and sociable. Though everyone there wasn't loud, the beds creaked mercilessly as did the floors on the corridors and the walls were very thin. We slept very well after everyone quietened down at about 11pm. Breakfast was a bit lame - pretty much toast but the kitchen the facilities were good if you have the forethought to plan your meals (there is a Tesco around the corner).

Liked: I liked all the different areas in the hostel, its nice.the price was okman different activities in the hostel at nightit's close to bus station (500m) which is also a very good pointit has an airport shuttle which picks u up AT the hostel...nice

Disliked: it smells like sh** downstairs in the common areas....like old socks and sweat together...really didn't enjoy that Hot shower is nice BUT even nicer when you can choose to have a hot one r not..i couldn't even shower this morning as it was really burning me... It's a shame that when the common areas close, you can not even be there on your computer.knowing that you don't have internet upstairs, it's annoying not being to use it after 0h00....we're not 18 ! location could be better honestly...it's a little walk to temple bar and all the touristic areas Noisy at night, cannot sleep before 1H30 and after 8H30.....too much noise but as i always say, it doesn't matter that much if a hostel isn't perfect with many games and stuff because we're supposed to go out and visit...
