Liked: It was really my best choice, nice place amazzing landscape specially down at harbor, Mr. Karl was simply great and helpfully... Definitely have to come back once... GREAT PLACE!!!

Liked: Was AMAZING!!! only booked for 1 night ended up staying 4 cause i loved it so much. Karl is an absolute champion, goes so far above and beyond to help every guest in every way imaginable!!! Would highly recommend the Aille River to anyone her wants to stay in a super chilled atmosphere. :) PERFECT!!!

Liked: It was a pleasure staying at the B and B. It was a clean, beautiful, quiet place, a few minutes away from everything. The owner was very kind and very helpful. Definitely recommended!

Liked: The best hostel I've never seen. The position is excellent, rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the athmosphere is beautiful.

Liked: The owner was a wonderfully helpful and cheerful fellow who genuinely enjoys running a hostel. The quaint little house has a huge kitchen, so preparing food is quiet easy, no matter how many people might be staying there. Loved the option of free wash! The beds were very comfortable too.

Disliked: Aside from some squeaky doorhandles and missing bumpers to soften doors closing, this place was wonderful!

Liked: Fantastic facilities, great atmosphere, highly recommended! If you ask for directions to places like the Burren or the Cliffs of Moher, and Karl tells you some strange, sketchy-sounding directions, listen to him anyway! Trust me, if you're okay with jumping a gate or two and don't mind going off the beaten path, you will have the best views in the best landscape you've ever been in!

Disliked: No carpets or sound proofing meant slamming doors and late arrivals were a bit annoying.

Liked: Carl, the manager, was extremely friendly and helpful in every way possible despite being very busy. The hostel itself is loaded with character so that you are bound to meet nice people during your stay. In addition to all this it had a great location to the bus stop, center of the town, and maybe most importantly, the cliffs of mohr. Carl will be happy to draw you a map so you can take a leisurely, remote (not crowded with tourists) couple hour hike along the cliff side and to the peak of the cliffs. From there you can bus it back for €2.20 or something like that. If that wasn't enough, wifi is reliable, laundry is free, and breakfast is €1.50.

Disliked: Nothing. I'll definetly go back someday.

Liked: super friendly and relaxed, comfortable beds, laundry line (a rarity in backpacker hostels here), loved doolin, great for walking, beautiful cliff walk, so nice just to be out there... cozy fire at night to dry shoes :o)

Disliked: no heat in the rooms, bathrooms in the ensuites have to be aired out after use and when it's freezing cold outside the cold air gets into the room as well... better use shared showers in the hallway. laundry, tried a few times but there was always finished laundry left in the washer so could not use.

Liked: The hostel was extremely charming and a good place for a short visit.

Disliked: It wasn't as close to the Cliffs of Moehr as we thought. You still need to take a bus or walk for about 8miles.

Liked: This is a very well kept hostel in a great location close to the cliff's of Moher and the Burren region. It has a very large and well equipped kitchen and a very friendly, helpful staff. The hostel has a small, quaint atmosphere which is great for relaxing in the front room.

Liked: The staff were so friendly and helpful. They really helped me get the most out of my time in Doolin. They didn't have bikes in the off season, but they knew where I could find them nearby.

Liked: Warm and friendly welcome from owner. Had so much advise and information for us to keep us busy for the duration of our stay. Free facilities to do washing. Rooms are warm and cosy. Kitchen big enough for all to cook their own dinner. Had so much fun and would definitely stay again and definitely reccommend our friends or family to stay here as well!! 5 out of 5 for sure!!!!

Liked: Cheap and good plase to stay overnight if you do not need very special comfort. Karl is very helpful and friendly. He gaves detailing information about interesting sites in this area and Burren. Thanks.

Disliked: A lot of people and sometimes has no place in the kitchen or at the table.

Liked: wonderful staff, atmosphere, location, general experience

Disliked: they need more staff, they only have one on at a time, and they are run off their feet, although still very helpful and welcoming. Also, beds are really uncomfortable wire spring...cud do with foam ones.
