Liked: Very friendly staff, they go out of their way to help you no questions asked. Can purchase breakfast every morning at the hostel

Disliked: No 24 hour reception

Liked: Large room (we had double private).

Disliked: Location is a bit far from city centre. Not too bad actually.

Liked: Card system for doors--fairly secure.

Disliked: The hostel was a significant distance from town (about 15-20 minutes' walk) and the bus doesn't run very frequently. The hostel looks nice from the outside but the interior is dingy and not very clean. There was mold all over the walls and ceiling above the shower. The sink in the dorm room, meaning that anyone wanting to brush their teeth or wash their hands while others are sleeping might wake people up. The WiFi isn't free, and the common room is small and depressing. Not a great experience, and I wouldn't stay there again.

Liked: Near the Fitzgerald Park, beautiful !

Disliked: People there are not very friendly (I don't speak about staff), I did'nt feel relax

Liked: Very spacious, in a quiet location convenient to town and with nice leafy surroundings

Disliked: i locked myself out of my room in the middle of the night, because cellphone erases the electronic access card.I was unlucky that it erased it in the middle of the night, and not during business hours when regaining access would have been easy.

Disliked: small rooms, uncomfortable beds, basically a student dorm room... stayed in a few places around ireland with much better value for money.

Liked: It was easy to find i e a short bus ride from the bus station. It was clean, warm and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Corridoors/stairs were a little confusing

Liked: I was only there for one night, but it seemed ok for me. Clean. Comfy beds. Bathrooom in room.

Disliked: No lockers in room. It's about 15 min walk to city centre, but there is a bus that stops right outside the hostel

Liked: It was like a big family.I really like this atmospehere. there is also a a lounge room where you can wacth the tv,talk with other people,eat etc.. i REALLY suggest it for young people. the room was en suite.

Disliked: nothing.. maybe just the location ..15 minute to cork centre..

Liked: We 3 girls stayed 1 night in a female only 6-bed dorm, it was clean and the other girls were nice. The room was big enough. The hoste is easily accessible from the city center (15min straight forward walking). Breakfast is expensive (4.5€). Staff nice (we only saw the receptionnist). Otherwise really worth its price!
