Liked: A nice place just outside of city centre. The facilities were clean and the people were great. A discount on drinks at a local pub and a short walk to train station, bus station and city centre. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was usual continental with cereal, toast and morning drinks

Liked: The breakfast was a nice addition. For 3 euros you can get toast and cereal, juice tea/soffee; pretty basic but a nice way to the start the day while you're planning the site seeing you'll do for the day. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The place is a bit of a rabbit warren, there are lots of rooms and stair cases, so it's not very open. If you're travelling alone it might be hard to get to know people. If your one hook for a hostel is clean bathroom and toilet facilities then this is not the place for you. The bathrooms and toilets were run down, smelly and a bit dirty. The toilet on our floor was lop sided. Beds are small and rooms are cramped.

Liked: Really cheap and a nice place so very good value for money! Exactly what I needed for a one night stay in Cork - just somewhere to sleep (even though, there was actually such a good atmosphere around the hostel when I arrived back from the night out that I really wished I had a little energy left to socialise a bit!) Great hostel!

Liked: Easy walk from the train station, easy walk to the city centre. The staff are all lovely and the common areas are great. Breakfast is nothing too spectacular for your 3euros just the usual hostel cereal and toast. Internet is so cheap! only 60cents for an hour which is awesome. Kitchen is huge and well equipped. Rooms are a little cramped but still clean. Definately recommend this place

Liked: YOU CAN ASK WHAT I DIN'T LIKED : I THINK THE WORST ARE THE BED AND THE MATRESS , THIS IS REALY BAD.-ON THE OTHER WAY THE MANAGER (PADY) I DON'T REALY KNOW HOW TO WRITE HIS NAME , BUT HE IS A TRULY MANAGER .HE'S VER PROFESSIONAL AND HIS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP A COUSTOMER. HE COULD BE IN A 5 STAR HOTEL !!!!!!

Liked: Good basic hostel. Really small rooms but this won't matter as long as you are out of them for most of the day! The bathrooms weren't the best but showers were free and with hot water. Cheap internet. Grumpy cleaners and night staff but the people working on the desk during the day were nice. Big kitchen with plenty of facilities.
