Liked: Staff were lovely, it has everything you need as a backpacker and the location is great.

Disliked: All the little extras cost- breakfast, internet on their computers, security lockers. But its not expensive. Also as it is rather large it is not ideal for a solo traveller looking to meet other people

Liked: Location was about 5-10min walk from city centrum but close to the train station which was good. Staff was friendly and very helpful! Cheap internet with good connection. Over all nice stay there and would recommend.

Liked: Gotta be one of the BEST hostels I've stayed in throughout Europe! We had a great stay, but only for one night. They've got great facilities and lovely freindly staff all for an amazingly low price tag! Great Value!

Liked: Great guy on reception, very helpful. Free wifi.Good facilities in kitchen.

Disliked: Charges for safety deposit boxes (they don't cost the hostel anything) No Lockers in rooms. Luggage room is not very secure. Showers are poor, spring loaded buttons that switch off too soon. Hard matting under foot. No decent sink space for washing face at night. I.e. nowhere to put your products down whilst you wash. Top of a massive hill. Breakfast is way too expensive. Metered computers.

Liked: The staff was friendly. The kitchen was large and had a wide assortment of utensils, stoves and cooking space. Good clean social room.

Disliked: The walk uphill with luggage was a bit of a negative. The kitchen closes early at about 23:00 which was a negative when we were out late and came back hungry, since our food was locked in there.

Liked: Was a great enviornment, made even better by the best staff! Paddy is amazing, he was so helpful and nice! Really made our trip! I highly recomend this hostel! Its a bit of a steep hill walking up to it, but its totally worth it because of the wonderful people inside!

Liked: Good location. Wi-fi is free but only reaches the common rooms. You can pay for breakfast. Kitchen is big, but really only gas rings. No ovens.

Liked: we booked 4 beds in a 8-person dorm, however, at arrival there were only 3 beds left in the dorm. we got a free upgrade to a 4 person ensuite room. amazing!

Liked: The worst feature is the showers, which are push-button, not constant stream. Breakfast is only bread and cereal for three euros. Beads not that comfortable. Free wifi or very cheap computer use. However, it definitely seems like the most popular hostel in Cork, and there was nothing seriously wrong about it.
