Our family run B&B is just 1.15 km or a 12 min walk to Clifden Town centre, set on eastern approach road (N59) with a spate Salmon River just across from us and all surrounded by native woodland. Free Computer Access and WiFi available. Our large and spacious bedrooms all have Double/Twin and with either King size or Queen beds,- Bedrooms have 21" TV., DVD/CD players, VCR player with complimentary videos, tea/coffee tray with complimentary bisques, hair-dryer, direct dial phones, clock radios, books/magazines. All bedrooms have genuine Artwork to enhance your stay. Bathrooms have power-showers and complimentary toiletries -shower caps, soap bars, shampoos etc, along with other little unexpected luxuries (cotton buds, cotton balls, pads etc). We are delighted you have visited our home where much of our business is repeat/referral and we look forward to sharing our home with you.
After arrival and on settling into your bedroom, why not come down with refreshments in hand and enjoy our large comfortable guest lounge, complete with big sofas, glowing fire, art work 'small library, board and card games etc., etc. or weather permitting-relax in our Garden with garden table/chairs available for you to relax and enjoy situated around our lawns.
Our dining room is large with private tables for each bedroom. From our Buffet table you can choose from Orange/apple/grapefruit'/cranberry juices, cornflakes, rice-crispies, weetabix, muesli, all-bran flakes, yogurts -strawberry, apple, plain, as well as grapefruit segments, prunes and peach segments. Fruit bowl with bananas, apples, oranges and fruits of season. Home-made Brown bread, white toast and teas and coffee. We have a big selection of teas -from earl grey, fruit, herbal, assam etc to Moroccan gunpowder teas!
Tastefully decorated, our dining room is a pleasure to relax within!
Our superbly sited outdoor hot-tub lies beneath the shade of an old oak tree and is a fantastic way to unwind after a long journey. We have bikes for hire, courtesy walking /hiking maps and good personal advice on these and any other activities. All bedrooms have a detailed Info folder with free souvenir Connemara and Clifden Town maps to guide you.
Our home lies at the base of the low foot-hills leading towards the 12 Ben Mountains and are perfect for some easy hill walking. The start of the Owenglen River walk is also located beside us and this walk is also truly beautiful. For your rates you are offered a genuine Irish family experience and the opportunity to visit one of the best known Tourist regions within Ireland. We look forward to meeting you!
