Liked: Beautiful old county manor. Liam, the owner, was extremely helpful and kind. Great deal!

Disliked: It's a bit far from town, but fine if you have a car.

Liked: While far from town, beautiful and tranquil area. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The owner drove all the way to Limerick (over an hour away) to retrieve my suitcase one night after I'd accidentally left it on the bus. Other than that, very clean room, great kitchen and exceptional value.

Disliked: Had to take a taxi or get a ride into Listowel, as the Hostel is a few kilometers away. Worth the extra Euros though as the hostel is so beautiful.

Liked: Perfect for what we were looking for. Beautiful country house and very well kept. Quiet, but in right location for us!

Liked: Very cute hostel, picturesque. Huge country house, and nice rooms and clean bathrooms etc. Decor a little iffy, but apart from that, would definitely recommend.

Liked: 17th century manor house with lots of character.log fires in evening and very friendly farmer running it.Dont be put off by the ivy growing on the front of the house!it is a real treasure within.

Liked: Located in a very nice rural area, charming old house. I really recommend it if you have a car, or at least a bicycle. A bit difficult to move around by foot.

Liked: The character of this property is it's biggest draw, located within driving distance of Listowel. The heating of the facility would be my only complaint-not quite adequant.

Liked: From travelling around the cities for so long, this place gave us an unexpected opportunity to truly relax.The friendly atmosphere, huge open fire, and communal spirit to this lovely hostel all made it immensely welcoming. We'll definately be going back.
