About Cashel Holiday Hostel
In our 3-storey hostel, there's something suitable for everyone ranging from dormitories, private rooms and even deluxe apartments.
The 1-bedroom apartment at CHH has its own kitchen facilities and dining area. It has a kettle, toaster and fridge, and an attractive outdoor seating area.
CHH offers you a cozy and comfortable place to stay while you take your time to explore the city, meet new people and soak up the Irish charm!
With 10 walking routes to choose from, put on your boots and stroll along river paths, mountain ranges and forest tracks where you will discover bogs, butterflies and castles, and even walk in the footsteps of Ireland’s historic figures of St. Patrick and King Henry II.
During the Summer season, we also operate Horse Carriage Tours from €5/person.
Located in the middle of town, we are less then a 5 minute walk to the Abbey, Folk Village Museum, and of course the Rock of Cashel. There are numerous pubs and restaurants within walking distance which makes it easy for you to make your way back to bed after a fun night out! ;)
There are also various supermarkets (Supervalue, Tesco, Lidl) nearby where you get your own groceries/neccesities and cook up a hearty meal in our fully equipped kitchen or even have a BBQ night with your family & friends.
Just 3 minutes walk away from the bus stop, we are on the national bus route between Cork and Dublin - with a choice of no less than 14 buses per day.
Limerick, Cork and Kilkenny are all within 1 hour’s drive of Cashel. The hostel is just a 1-minute walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs on Main Street.

Cashel Hostel is a 50 bed house that has both Dorm and Private en-suite rooms available.
Dorm types available are 10 bed (with en suite), 8 bed, 5 bed (female only), 4 bed, 4 bed (with en suite).
We also have twin/double private rooms and also deluxe ensuite apartments.
Clean linens are included.
We also have towel rental and laundry service at a minimal fee.
We are in the heart of Cashel city and only a 5 minutes walk from the famous Rock of Cashel.
Cashel, a small market town of approx 3000 people, is not only famous for the Rock of Cashel, an extensive collection of rare books, maps and artifacts housed at the Bolton Library, but also for a great night of Irish music, song and dance at Bru Boru every evening.
St: John the Baptist and the Church of Ireland, (both very beautiful) ancient town walls and many other sites of interest can be found through the Visitors Heritage Centre on Main Street of Cashel
There are many walks available along the River Suir or riding a hire bike, where you may see badger, fox, birds and wetlands wild life all in the shelter of 1000 year old Holycross and Athassel Abbeys, keeps and castles and rural farms.
