There is no electricity, only with gas. For families with children, backpackers and adventures people who loves this kind of atmosphere is it a beautiful place. This hostel is old.
Overview
Originally a shooting lodge 16km from Cahir, this hostel is set in a lovely area of forests in the Galtee Mountains where wild deer and other animals roam.
Originally a shooting lodge 16km from Cahir, this hostel is set in a lovely area of forests in the Galtee Mountains where wild deer and other animals roam. This is the 2nd of our gaslit hostels. The entire area has a wealth of attractions like the Rock of Cashel, Swiss Cottage and Mitchelstown Caves.

We do not accept bookings for more then 10 people. Any such booking will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.

The hostel does not take long term stays maximum stay is for 7 nights.
