Overview
A Retreat Centre & Tourist Hostel - one of Ireland's original Independent Hostels. Housed in a converted farm barn 2 miles from Ballyconnell, County Cavan, we accommodate retreats, groups & backpackers!
Our advertised twin rooms are large and parents may bring up to 3 under-12s at no extra charge. Our large gardens allow plenty of space to play!
And there's a warm turf fire ready and waiting!
The hostel is self-catering and max. stay under normal circumstances is 7 days. We look forward to helping you get the very most out of your holiday!
The hostel is occasionally closed for retreats, cub scout camps etc.

A traditional country hostel 20km from the county town of Cavan and 3km from the small town of Ballyconnell. A quiet stopover on the Donegal - Dublin route, or a base to explore the border country of West Cavan / Fermanagh / Leitrim - a lovely area well worth a few days!
