Welcome to Da Rifi Hostel. It is really a home away from home. We accept you as a member of our family. If you are a beginning to travel in Indonesia, this is the right place to stay. Let us help you with the right information during your visit.

Da Rifi lies in housings called Pondok Candra Indah. It is safe area, where security is ensured 24 hoursa day. It is only 15 minutes from Surabaya airport. If you just transit, this place is the best to save your time and money.
This place is really a home, where you feel like you are in your home. Never hesitate to ask for things, we are always glad to help you.
We don't promise you facilities like in a hotel, because this is not hotel. But anyhow, you should make reservation first before your coming in order to get prepared of your stay.
If this is your first destination to Indonesia, you should choose this place as we could give you more information about your next step for your budget traveling.
We provide you free breakfast and 24 hours water drinking, coffee & tea. Internet is not available, but some of internet cafes are close by. You may use our bicycle free to reach there, or the Giant hyper store just 2 minutes by bicycle. Dunkin Donut is only 2 minutes walk, but anytime you can order food by telephone since many food restaurants surrounding are ready to serve you by their delivery service.

Accommodation Information

Our rooms are dormitory rooms. Basic room. There are 7 rooms. But we provide you television in the living room, where DVD/VCD player are there too. You may make coffee or tea anytime you wish. Cold water is available in refrigerator. You may keep your food in the refrigerator too. If you want to cook, you are welcome to cook. But we can make you simple food like noodles. If you come with a group, we can serve you different breakfast, like rice with chicken soup, or fried rice. Without reservation, we can't serve you as well.
If you need airport pick up by motorcycle, email us after your reservation. We only charge Rp.15,000 for motorcycle, while taxi fare is about Rp.60,000 - 100,000. If you need car pick-up, we charge for Rp.40,000.

Location Information

Da Rifi is just a simple because we are not hotel, but we concern on economical way for guests to stay. From airport, it is just maximum 15 minutes, and recently, there is new toll road which you can reach airport within 5 minutes by taxi. There is Giant superstore just 10 minutes walk, ATMs can reach for 2 -10 minutes, taxi service 24 hours. Local transportation (minibus called mikrolet) can reach for 2 minutes walk (main road). To anywhere you go, local transporation can take you with Rp.3,000, like to go to mall/plaza. But going with motorcycle is fun too. Just give some money for the gasoline to motorcycle drivers who are our neighbours. Make it for the price by yourself.
There is free city tour every day, but you have to go to the bus station where city tour is held. Free city tour is held by national company called Sampoerna who cares with tourists visiting Surabaya. The bus goes everyday showing locations like museums, etc. They have different destinations every day. We appreciate this company so our guests have opportunity to have sight seeing Surabaya for free. The company knows us well as we send our guests to join with their free tour frequently.
