Liked: The staff was incredible. One woman helped us find the house our grandmother used to live in before the war. We went all over Batu, knocking on peoples doors until we found it. It was a nice, quiet place and our stay was just superb!

Disliked: I don't think there is anything to dislike.

Liked: I like the environment, the green surroundings of Dedaun. It was very relax. Moreover, the stuff all are very friendly and able to speak english well. I really like this place!

Disliked: errm.. there have nothing much to complaint. :) I have nice experience at here.

Liked: We kwamen 's avonds om 20.00 uur aan en gingen 's nachts om 1.00 uur al weer weg naar de Bromo. Toch was het een heel prettig verblijf. We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen, konden nog eten en werden rondgeleid door de hele tuin. Het is er heerlijk rustig en relaxed. Echt een aanrader! Volgende keer hopelijk een wat langer verblijf!

Liked: This people are very carefull for their gasts. We have made a lot of special trips with the lady of the house named Abby. Very kind person who is speaking englisch very well. Abby helps me to find my roots in Batu. She helped me and i found everything i wished. Without her i think i would not found anybody.The hospitality is great also from the staff.We can recommand this homestay.With kind regardsJasper and Willy de JongNetherlands

Liked: the spacious cottages are located in a wonderful garden with lots of plants and vegetables. The staff is very friendly and helpful and doing a lot to make you feel comfortable.

Liked: We had an excellent stay in this homestay. Warm welcome, a very good and original "afternoon collation" offered, a very quiet place, a spacious and well-equipped room, a good diner with vegetables and fruits from the garden... and the pleasure to visit the big garden and to speak with gardeners. Moreover, the staff was very helpful with our guide, they helped him to find interesting places to visit. OK, our guide should have done that by himself, but he was not very good, and we really appreciated the help of de Daunan staff.I would highly recommend this place for people who are vegetarian or who like Bio way of life. For people just looking for a good swimming-pool or entertainment on night, no need to loose your time, this adress is not for you. It is probably very similar to a french "gîte de France", for people who know about this brand. Same quality, same pleasure.Last but not least on Java, there is a mushollah very close to the hotel, but luckily, the rooms are insonorized and we were not too disturbed !

Liked: Owners and staff were incredibly helpful and even got up at 4 a.m to help us prepare for the assault on Mont Bromo ! Superb value for money and afternoon tea was a delight.
