We are situated right in the heart of the Gili Trawangan tourist area just five minutes away from the famed white sand beaches and the many bars and restaurants.
We offer range of comforts and facilities for our valued guests with very spacious rooms comfortably accomodating up to four people with abundant storage space. All rooms have a fan cooling system installed and large ensuite bathrooms with western toilet and shower. Outside there is a very large verandah where you can enjoy refreshments and evening meals in the cool shade overlooking a beautifully maintained garden.
We are just 10 minutes walk away from Trawangan harbour just off the main tourist strip where you will find all the bars restaurants dive shops and entertainment within a few minutes walk. The famous powder white sandy beaches are just a short stroll away with crystal blue waters and an astonishing array of marine life awaits - from sea turtles, marlin, clownfish and hammerhead sharks. Although just minutes from all the action, Pondok Maulana offers the perfect place for relaxation.
As the largest of the Gilis, Trawangan is also the most popular and has for many years been the place of choice for the intrepid traveller in search of an idyllic island lifestyle. Laid back, chilled out and friendly yet possessing more than enough activities and natural wonders to keep the most energetic person occupied. Just kick back and enjoy the pristine white sandy beaches and coral laden crystal blue seas for starters. Nightfall sees the tourist strip come alive with beach parties and alfresco dining by the shoreline. Well known as the party island it still retains a relaxed, no stress ambience. The many restaurants cater to all tastes - Indonesian, pan-asian and western dishes are available everywhere particularly the wonderful seafood.
For those seeking adventure underwater there are many dive operators and snorkelling here is a fantastic experience with many exotic species just off the shoreline. Transportation on the islands consist of horse drawn 'cidomos' so it is refreshingly quiet and unpolluted. Other options are cycling or horseriding both a pleasant way to tour this small island.
