Liked: Great beachside location, really laid back, staff friendly, good access to facilities at neighbouring resorts

Disliked: Due to rain damage was unable to stay in bungalow room as per booking which was disappointing but unavoidable. Showers were cold water only and the toilet didn't work particularly well but i still feel like the accommodation was good value for money

Liked: The staff was so nice. The food is excellent and very cheap.

Disliked: The beach is a bit spoiled with algue, but they offer you a free shuttle to their partner hotel, which has a nice beach.

Liked: Nice, basic wooden bungalows over the water with balconies, friendly staff. Peaceful location.

Disliked: The location was quite romote and there wasn't much to do in the immediate area, no sandy beach either at the accommodation and the biggest problem was my friend had BED BUGS in her bed and suffered the entire time we stayed there! However, we were moved to another room, but they wouldn't own-up to the bed bugs and said my friend's 100+ bites were caused by ants!! Take planty of insect repellent as there are many sand flies!

Liked: Wonderful place for relaxing some day and turn off your mind from the traffic and noisy of the city. I raccomand to other traveller!

Disliked: A lot of mosquito, but it is nobody fault, so please remeber to bring the spray anti mosquitos!

Liked: THis is a great get away, if you feel like getting back to basic's and away from the city. The complex is designed to make you feel like you are out in the wild and personally I love this kind of environment. My hubby and friend that travelled with me, would have prefered something a little bit more modern, however guys this place is wicked in my opinion and I would go back for sure! If you want a 5 star hotel don't book here, if you want a fun experience and you are open minded this is a place for you :-)

Disliked: The bar does close at 11pm, however they don't seem to have a problem with you drinking your own alcohol after closing, so grab a bottle in duty free! My only feedback to the hotel would have been to offer us an upgrade at check-in..there were really cool huts not booked and we would have been happy to pay the extra if offered!

Liked: Rustic, and quiet away from the main resort area. The phenomenal friendliness of the local people. A good budget hideaway :)

Disliked: Lots of mosquitoes but they provide lotion in the rooms which is very effective so slap it on as\soon as you get there, and ask at reception for a plentiful supply. Sandflies the worst, but a friend has since told me that tea tree is a effective defence so I'll try this next time.

Liked: Beautiful place. Nice balconies.

Disliked: The beach is not very nice for swimming. There are not that many activities planned. There were cockroaches in the rooms and just a mosquito net to the neighbours, so you can hear everything and we could even see their lights. We also had the issue of having some silver bracelets left behind by one of our group. When contacting Yasing Bungalow the day after check-out, they reported they couldn't find them. So most likely the bracelets were stolen by the cleaning staff, which boils my blood even writing about it now. But, keep your valuables safe and make sure you bring everything with you and you shouldn't have a problem.

Liked: Neat little place. Very varied people staying there. Well worth also taking a trip to Tanjung Pinang.

Disliked: Swimming isn't so great as it is really tidal and at low tide the water is a long way out.

Liked: beautiful location, very cute bungalows, rustic and (most of the time, apart from Saturday nights) very relaxed and quiet, lovely helpful staff

Disliked: on our 1st night there was a huge party organised for international students from Singapore which we were not aware of before we arrived - it was crazy loud with a full on music system (playing reeeeeally bad music!) which blared until 1.30am - my partner went out to complain at midnight and the manager agreed to wipe the cost from our bill (which he honoured it has to be said). really not great given that it promotes itself as a chillout place, which is the reason we booked it as a stopover on a trip from Australia to Scotland. to make things worse, as my partner then came back into our bungalow, he found a local guy climbing in through the window!!!!!!!!! thankfully he ran away quick smart - bet he wasn't expecting an irate 192cm Scotsman hurling abuse at him...! so not so flash on the security front either. other than that, tho, it was great!!!!

Disliked: Not a very nice beach etc, but compensated by good transport

Disliked: if your looking for peolpe and party, not the thing to got to! very remote, good for relaxing, nothing much to do there.

Liked: this place is really worth staying. peaceful and romantic in middle of the sea with day sunshine and night moonlight, windy and fabulous sightseeing all the time. moreover, staff are always outstanding with smile and friendliness. However, not variety of foods and entertainments to try....so far, its good for relaxing and spend 2 - 3 days free with family or friends. Highly recommend cause its worth money and time. thanks!!

Liked: All as advertised: quiet, laid back, a getaway-from-it-all.Plus excellent value for money for the accommodation. Also for food and drink, considering there is not much else around they could easily up the prices! Very good organisation for the ferry pick ups etc. Note: not really "a fun place to meet people" because it's a what it is, low key and laid back!

Liked: This is a great place to go and chill out! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the drinks and food are reasonably priced and there is a free taxi service between the 3 different resorts, which allows you to use the pool, spa and other facilities.

Liked: What i liked about this property is the area itself,generally.it's simple and enjoyable.It's really far from anything else though,no shops,restaurants around except at the hotels around there.I did like the fact that you can use the facilities of its sisters'resort&spa.Staff is very friendly,a place for a weekend escape.
