Liked: awesome value for the money!!! i extended my stay for 5 extra nights!!! very relaxed and very short walk to the surfing beaches.

Disliked: little hard to find when you come from the airport by taxi.

Liked: Awesome place,awesome guests,awesome surf.

Disliked: Hard to extend for long stays.The staff dosnt speak good English.Otherwise the perfect surfers retreat.

Liked: Surf Dorms, must be the best value in Indonesia for a surfer. My holiday is a total surfing getaway now for 7 months. I have been to 14 surfing locations in Indonesia, (not just Bali) and Surf Dorm was by far the best place I have stayed. Plus I was lucky the surf here was awesome. Not far to travel to other peaks in this area and take your pick. Had a wicked wave at old mans one day. Plus a couple of nice barrels at Echo beach. Top spot.

Disliked: Only 6 beds,hard to extend.The staff dosnt speak much english.

Liked: Really nice Hostel. Friendly people staying there, very clean. Close to beach and a few cheap restaurants but in a quiet location. Really recommend Hostel.

Liked: Very clean, cute and cozy!!! Excellent on suite shower with a bath tub and seperate shower.Nice little kitchen area and attached lounge room.So many movies to watch.I will recommend this place to everyone I know!

Liked: Great place for a surfer.Walking distance to some nice peaks.Has Kitchen and nice bedroom area.Also TV with lots of great movies.Small pool cool to socialize in.Met some good people.

Disliked: Good for Surfing,not a great deal to do of a night unless you rent bike.

Liked: Pretty quiet, not actually in a town area - a little more rural. Very relaxed and within walking distance to the beach (though more like 500 meters, not 50). If you want to be able to get around you'll want to rent a scooter, which is fairly easy. There's a place to rent surfboards nearby but its open at random times, a few times a week. Otherwise you can walk to Echo beach where there are a couple rental places and some cheaper food spots.

Disliked: Given their name, it would be nice if the Surfing Dorms had boards to lend/rent out. Being in a remote location has its pluses and minuses... Overall I was glad to have been there and not somewhere in Kuta where its clogged with traffic and noise.

Liked: This place is excellent.Great place to relax and surf if thats what you want to do.Some of the girls that stayed there didnt surf but really enjoyed themselves.Its like renting a small villa with all your mates.Hard to extend because there is only 6 beds.Fantastic.

Disliked: Well the staff couldnt speak english.So there is no info available.Maybe this is a good thing.But it was so clean every day its unbleavable.

Liked: Met some great people. Safe and secure especially for a girl traveling alone. Really liked that it was in a chilled out area close to the beach!

Disliked: Wish there was wifi!

Liked: With out a DOUBT the BEST Hostel I have ever stayed in.So clean,cook yourself,we all joined and had an awesome BBQ.Love the pool.Super friendly. You must go here.

Disliked: Couldnt extend,it was full.

Liked: Awesome little place,I dont surf but it was great to just chill out and get away from all the crowds.Watched movies and read some books.Nice bathroom.Big bedroom for a dorm room.Cool little pad.Recomended if you need to relax.Super cheap.

Disliked: Very good for me.

Liked: Way good little place with lots of room to kick back.Must be the best location in Bali for the price.

Disliked: All good for us.Only problem it was full and couldnt stay longer.Back next week.

Liked: Nice little place,so chilled and quiet.Had some great surf just down the road from Surf Dorm.You do need to rent a bike with board racks ($4) if you want to go to Ecco Beach or Kuta.Great place if your a Surfer.

Disliked: There were no lockers (being built).No Internet but it was nice to have a break from that.There is Wi Fi at a Cafe up the road.

Liked: Great if you want to surf,so close to a nice surfing spot,and close to other places like Echo beach.Really you need to rent a motor bike if you want to go to Kuta etc,only $4.The place was amazing,just like renting your own small villa,but so cheap.You can cook yourself,great TV and so many movies.Really recomended if your surfing on a budget.

Disliked: It is about 20 min motor bike drive to Kuta,but its crazy there and the surf wasnt any good the day we went,so we just went back to Berawa Beach and had a great surf.
