Liked: Big room with TV and toilet attached. free WI-FI and if you are able to drive in Bali there are free scooters.

Disliked: Very far away from Kuta. Even if they drop you off or by scooter, it takes minimum 30minutes to the centre. Poor breakfast.

Liked: Staff is very very friendly and helpfull. Place is clean and safe. Location might be remote, but free scooters are provided. Great place if you need to adapt to the Balinese life for a couple of days!

Disliked: Joshua left no negative feedback.

Liked: Good value for the money. Free scooters are great if you are brave enough to drive in the insane Bali traffic. Free breakfast is nice but it was the same thing every day, with no real selection. There is a great little local restaurant just around the corner. Small (only five rooms) and they all open on to the courtyard so it's easy to meet the other guests.

Disliked: No pool and not close enough to the beach, which I knew when I booked but I wasn't thinking the area would still be as crowded as it was, despite the distance from Kuta. If you use the scooters, it's brilliant, but I did not so it was too far to walk to things and it got expensive hiring drivers. If you don't think you will take advantage of the scooters, I would stay elsewhere. They also don't really have very comfortable outdoor seating or DVDs to go in the DVD players that they advertise as in the rooms.

Liked: Free scooters! Good breakfast, friedly and helpful staff. Nice big bed. Interesting ceiling.

Disliked: No sink in bathroom, not enough places to put things on. Our room was only swept once during our 8 day stay, bathroom was not cleaned at all. Only cold showers available.

Liked: it is a little bit outsite of kuta, so it is not that noisy. and you have a free motorbike that is very good

Disliked: the toilet is not that clean, but still ok

Liked: We had a very good time at the dana guesthouse, the staff is very friendly, helpfull and smily as well. We met young backpackers; and we had a good time there, just chatting and listening music. The place is very quiet and small but that what I liked in the place. The guesthouse is a bit far from the city, but they give you a motorcycle if you stay more than 1 night, it's totally worth! There is a little garden very nice, and the room is simple but clean as well. The breakfast was definitely good! . I took two more nights there. I would strongly recommend this place to the people who are looking for a simple place to stay, cheap but very confortable. Even if you come by yourself, you will always find someone to stay with, for sure!

Liked: I would 100% recommend the Dana guesthouse.. It's location is away from the tourist trap of Kuta and the free moped hire allows you to see the real Bali! The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable... The free airport pick up is yet another big plus point for Dana!! Thank you Putu and staff, we'll be back!

Disliked: No sinks in the bathroom, had to use outdoor sink bit really no biggie!

Liked: Price is very reasonable for the quality of stay. Free usage of motorbike and scooter. Tourist info and nice tour packages are provided.

Disliked: There is no basin in the room(only a basin outside the room). The ventilation was not that good if you don't open the window but you need to close the window for privacy.

Liked: Small in numbers of units. Location is excellent. Single units with toilet and showers excellent, Five units seperated by table areas etc. gave a degree of privacy unexpected in the sense of both sight and sound. The staff and their helpfullness, attitude and overall conduct in all matters I cannot praise highly enough.

Disliked: I truly do not know anything negative to state about this guesthouse and its operation as far as I am concerned. I look forward to returning there again May 18-25,2012.

Liked: Being able to use their motorbikes is a great amenity! Staying in this part of Bali you get a different feel and understanding of the area. The staff was great, with breakfast and the motorbike included it was a great deal for our stay! We met other fun couples in the bungalow's next to us and went out to dinner one night.

Disliked: The location wasn't ideal, You had to use motorbikes to go anywhere.

Liked: super nice staff, traditional house, lovely garden, free pick-up from airport, warm shower even for rooms without hot water, rural real indonesian surroundings, supermarket, shop, great restaurant just around corner

Disliked: motorbikes for people with biking licence only, quite far from airport and legian etc so taxi expensive

Liked: Extremely good value for money, I would recommend this place to people who want a quiet, tranquil stay. We were in a very rural area which was very peaceful. Nearby (down the road from Dana Guesthouse) there is a bamboo bar place called 'Coca Loca' which did amazingly cheap Western and Indonesian food. Dana Guesthouse also has a very friendly dog, and a lovely cockerel (next door) that likes to COCKADOODLEDOOOOOOOO!!! every half hour lol. We also got our laundry very cheaply by going to a place down the road, where the girls there did our large load for about Rp.18,000 - washed and ironed!

Disliked: The only issue that we felt was quite prominent was the location. Because we didn't have motorbike licences (we were only in Indonesia for ten days, the last four days spent at Dana Guesthouse, therefore we could not justify spending money on licenses for only four days' usage) we had to get taxis everywhere (we were unaware that Dana Guesthouse offered tour bookings) which set us back a bit (for example, it was Rp.370,000 for a round trip to Ubud) However if you do have motorbike licenses then this is the place to stay as they offer motorbike rental for free! However, do not be put off by the location as we found that staying at Dana Guesthouse meant we were in the middle of the main hubs that we wanted to visit such as Ubud, Sanur, Kuta and a few other places. The bungalow we stayed in was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and it is a lovely environment.

Liked: Nice location, walking distance to the beach but still relatively peaceful (except during our stay there was noise coming from the night club nearby). Helpful staff and good buffet style breakfast that won't leave you hungry.

Disliked: Hotel is build in 80's (I guess) so some facilities are already a bit cranky but I guess you cannot expect everything to be posh and new with the price you pay per night.

Liked: Quiet guesthouse away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. Nice clean rooms, free wifi and scooter access. Not to mention great friendly staff

Disliked: wanted to stay longer but could not because it was already booked out.

Liked: Puta was fantasic, very helpful and helps you with all of you tours and stay. Very clean

Disliked: The location was not the best for shops and bars, but the free motocycle hire helps alot

Liked: The fact I could get my own double bed for $20 is a plus, as I am on my own it is hard to find a double for that price as most rooms in Bali I would pay more. Very good that you get a free motorcycle but I can't drive one, also it is very busy on the main roads closest to the hostel.

Disliked: They didn't pick me up from the airport so I had to pay an extremely large taxi fare in the middle of the night. When I got there no one was awake and I had to sit outside. When finally I got let in, the security guard and his girlfriend were in my bed!!!! Not happy!!!! No one really offered me help, no DVD player in room, didn't receive any breakfast. Very alone!! It's great if ur confident on a bike though.

Liked: It was nice that a scooter is included.

Disliked: I arrived in the early evening. First of all it was very hard to find it, nobody knew it. Furthermore there was nobody arround when I arrived and first needed to wait for almost half an hour. It was a strange stay and not a good location.

Liked: Clean, restfull and nice staff - perfect place for couple (only double beds) who want to stay quiet away from kuta's wild night life but close enough to nice spots (tanah lot, etc). Free motorbike (1 for each room) !

Disliked: a bit far from kuta to go out at night

Liked: danna guess house was awsome the staff were super friendly and the breky was yummy, and it was a good price and you got a scooter included, the staff were also realy helpful when you needed help finding some where they take you there for a nice gesture or tip... loved it will defo be back :-)

Disliked: could not complain the slightest..:-)

Liked: the free scooter and the car service are awesome, the staff is very friendly and they did everything to keep mosquitoes away and it worked very well. the dog is very nice and friendly, too! the guesthouse felt like home while we were there.

Disliked: there is a small gap between the wall and the ceiling so animals can get into the room. we didn't mind the gecko, but there was a rat at one point.. the bathroom is small and the flush didn't work that well. there was a cockroach once and we killed it.

Disliked: The location is difficult to find and had to spend heavily on taxi fare to go to different attractions. Good thing they offered motorbike free of charge.
