Liked: Attractive buildings

Disliked: Airport pickup is advertised as $23.85 Australian. 250000 rupiah is nearer $26. My account was presented without subtracting 10% already paid to hostelbookers. Fortunately hostelbookers had summarised the amount owing

Liked: Standard rooms full on my arrival so they put me in superior BUT didnt tell me until id unpacked etc. And couldnt tear myself away,but no problem,kenyat did me a deal an i loved every minute of it

Disliked: theres no chance of a lay in due to cockerels,bird noise,etc but thats indonesia for you. . . Alarm clocks that lay eggs! Its not a party place anyway so get up and enjoy ubud,its a wonderful place.

Liked: Beautiful setting - one felt that one was truly in a Balinese home compound. It was extremely well maintained, and the gardens were immaculate.

Disliked: Slightly too far from the centre - a long walk uphill. We were woken very early by the screaming children of the family.

Liked: This place has a very atmospheric location. It almost feels like you are staying at a temple. In general everything is really comfortable and you really get away from the noise of the street even though you are only 50 metres away from it.

Disliked: My dislikes are only minor things. It would have been nice with a towel and the beds seemed only half made. Nothing too bad and I never had a feeling that the place hadn't been cleaned. A word of warning to people who dislike being woken up by birds. The whole place is filled with birds. They are beautiful and I really enjoyed having them there, but they do make quite a bit of noise in the morning.

Liked: great homestay and local culture experience. great banana jaffles breakfast. extremely helpful and friendly staff. cheap shared day tour package. lots of birds kept in the garden so it was a mini orchestra at night and we woke up to the sound of roosters. bathroom and bedroom cleanliness was acceptable. abit far from the centre of ubud, 15 - 20 walk to the main jalan ubud and far from the art musuems. but only 5 minutes from the famous - must try Dirty Ducklings restaurant.

Disliked: bathroom could be better.

Liked: We was the first guests which stayed at new rooms - they are large and clean. Bathroom also is very nice. Its typical homestay so you are living with balinese family. We love it!

Liked: Beautiful, Balinese house. Very charming, hepfull staff, nice breakfast. Big room with own terrace, clean. Very good place to stay, close to the center, however not right on the main street (which for us is an advantage)

Disliked: There is a construction going on just in front of the rooms so it is noisy during the day. Take it into account if you plann to spend days in the hotel. Otherwise, perfect.

Liked: Great place to stay - the homestay has a lot of character, you`ll feel in a Hindu temple. Staff is great, ready to help. Rooms are spotless, local breakfast is nice. A little far away from the main street, but it`s just a 5-10 min walk. Great value for money, if i go back i`ll definitelly stay there again.

Liked: This is a lovely family place to stay. The breakfast was lovely and it was like staying in a secret garden. The only downside being the cockerels constantly crowing (all the way through the night). The swimming pool was a good 20 minute walk, but was well worth it.

Liked: They make you feel like your at there house with there family! lots of friendly animals! the only negative were the noisy roosters at all hours of the night but i think that's Ubud!
