Welcome to Candi Beach Cottage in peaceful east Bali, escape from the hustle bustle, and embrace the tranquillity. Our enchanting and intimate 4-star resort rests amid swaying palm trees within the quiet and natural environs of Mendira Bay, close to the village of Candidasa in the royal Balinese regency of Karangasem.

Our 32 Superior Rooms and 32 cottage-style Superior Bungalows, restaurant, bar, lobby lounge, two swimming pools, and massage pavilions, are set within a coconut grove garden that gently rolls on to a beautiful private white sand beach. Natural colours and local materials have been blended to create a resort that harmonises with the environment. The traditional architecture utilises local materials from Bali and neighbouring Indonesian islands, while the turquoise waters of the dreamy, palm fringed swimming pool appear to overflow into the azure sea.

Candi Beach Cottage is a destination where guests can raft dramatic rivers, shop for bargains in vibrant local markets, enjoy cultural performances of Hindu dance epics, cycle through gently swaying fields of rice, visit ancient kingdoms and mystical water palaces, climb mighty volcanoes or dive into an exotic world of psychedelic fish. Marriage proposals are proffered and accepted. This welcome oasis is where the dream begins.

SUPERIOR ROOMS

Our 24 Superior Rooms, complete en-suite bathrooms and a choice of king size or twin beds, are located within the two hotel wings. Each wing consists of a total of 16 rooms, 8 of which are interconnecting; all boast garden views.


DELUXE ROOMS

Our 8 Deluxe Rooms are the same size as the Superior Rooms, with the same facilities, upgraded, together with the additional provision of a DVD player and in-house movies, in each room. Furthermore, each boasts a wooden deck terrace (ground floor) or built in bench seat on the balcony (upper floor) affording the best views of the garden & Indian ocean.


SUPERIOR COTTAGE

Each of our 24 Superior Bungalows features the same private facilities as the Superior Rooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms. Located within the gardens between the wings of the hotel, each boasts a private terrace, and all enjoy garden views.


DELUXE COTTAGE

Our 8 Deluxe Bungalows are the same size as the Superior Bungalows, with the same facilities, upgraded, together with the additional provision of a DVD player and in-house movies, in each room. Furthermore, the location of these bungalows affords the best views of the garden or to the ocean.
