I think this is a pretty good place to stay. The location is a bit difficult to find the first time, so I'd recommend the airport pickup. Otherwise, you can find it fairly easily by just going to the Ghats and finding…

Overview

Experience a cosy and friendly stay in the most ancient & holy city of India. This is a small family guest house located near the holy river Ganges. Situated in the oldest part of the city, the building is over 100 years old and the guest house has been running for 13 years.
We have 7 private rooms with all good services.

Stunning sunrise and river view, with holy morning mantra chants from the Lord Shiva-temples surrounding the house, the roof-top is also a good place for yoga and meditation. We have also a very comfy living room where you can meet the other guest or simply enjoy your self.

BEWARE: -
Please, be careful with taxi drivers and ‘local illegal’ guides at the station/airport. We can arrange the pick up for you, you just send us an email with the details of your flight/train, with date, name & time or you can call us once you arrive..
