Liked: the roof restaurant: the "bona cafe" governed by Korean chef in a professional and Hygienic manner.

Disliked: there's not hot water. The room is very cold in the night

Liked: Great location with easy walking access to the ghats in less than a few minutes. Clean, as far as Indian hostels go.

Disliked: The walk back to the hostel in the dark was a bit scary for a female traveller. Up a very steep set of steps with no lights and down some winding alleys. Not to far, but take a torch if you go to help you find your way. Our water stopped twice in the two days we stayed, and whilst we had booked an air con room, what we got was a fan room with an air con unit which didn't work. We didn't find the staff overly helpful, but didn't have cause to ask too many questions.

Liked: It was just like being in rented accommodation. Private, relaxed, quiet and ideal for single women travellers. The family were full of smiles and the children delightful.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike!

Liked: The room and bathroom were very clean. It was really nice having a hot water all day and a shower that actually worked!!! However, there was some confusion about the reservation we made and how much we had to pay (they didn't subtract deposit). Once we had sorted this out, we enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
