Liked: Room is comfortable, the location is superb, near train station and metro station. Just go out of the hotel and you can start shopping. Interesting and funny guy will welcome you at the counter, haggle a bit and they will give you a best price

Liked: In the course of one week, I stayed in 3 different hotels around the Main Bazaar. This was, without question, the nicest one. The staff is very professional and responsive to any needs. The rooms are spacious & very clean.

Disliked: nothing...

Liked: Really nice peopple good price, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly specially Ryan. They have WIFI and that is a big plus in india...They even kept my booked room in the bigest season altough i was 5 hours late due to indian bus schedules and there were many ppl waiting ....:) So big ups for hotel Kuldeep Friends Hostel

Liked: Had a really easy and relaxed stay in New Delhi at kuldeep friends Hostel. Rooms are cheap, simple, clean and functional and the staff are very helpful with anything you may have to ask about; including booking trains, getting to places and finding the right bars. It's a great place for backpackers looking for a base camp in New Delhi

Disliked: none.

Liked: I think this is a good hostel. I found the people working here very helpful and service minded. The room was good and clean. I had to ask for the hot water but when I did it was good and the shower pressure was good, which is not always the case in India. The location is very central and it is easy to get around

Liked: Clean and comfortable hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. I'm an australian girl travelling by myself and hotel manager Rayan made sure I was comfortable and organised my transport to where my tour was meeting before I even had to ask. The WiFi was very good also.

Disliked: all was fine..

Liked: We spent 3 comfortable nights in this friendly Hostel. It is in a great location near city centre - a shoppers paradise. The rooms are a little small but suited our needs and most importantly were clean and nicely decorated. The complimentary wi-fi worked well, & cable TV. The staff went out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Liked: I stayed here with family for a night or two at each end of a two week Rajasthan trip, and would happily do so again. Another reviewer called it "home from home" and it is a very apt description...they made us feel like home especialy the owner was so kind & helpfull they shared home made food with us. highly recommended.

Liked: Nothing honestly.. it just felt horrible right from the beginning. Then being messed about confirmed its worth paying a little more!

Disliked: Everything, we didn't believe either if the managers when they said they were full, they tell you with such disbelief in their eyes. Both kuldeep and new king are hard to find and pretty dark pokey and dingy places down a very small back alley.

Liked: The location

Disliked: My room booking was given to someone else and so initially they tried to give me a room with a filthy toilet that wasn't even in the hotel. It felt VERY unsafe as the door didn't lock properly and had no padlock. I was then moved into the hotel as I didn't want to stay there. During the night- 1am- the owner of the hotel was hammering on everyone's door with a metal bar and was screaming for one of the residents to leave- scary! I was woken up and had no idea what was happening- all I could hear was screaming and smashing glass. It turned out this was owners method of getting rid of people he did not want in the hotel... I would NOT recommend this place.

Liked: This Hostel was great. The owner or manager was super nice and really laid back. He went out of his way to help and really cared about your comfort. The rooms were also clean and comfortable with a working TV which was good to come back to and chill after being ibn bustling Delhi. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Disliked: awesome.place....

Liked: We stayed this hotel twice and both the times got the same level of service. Nice clean hotel. Helpful staff. We arrived at 8.am and got the room although the check in time was noon - other hotels would try to charge for it. Good location for New Delhi train station , Free Wi.fi for guests & the most important thing I like is that they are trustworthy people they will give you all usefull information which help you a lot .

Liked: That it was cheap but not that cheap for how dirty it was and it was right close to backpacker ally, the place where most other backpackers stay.

Disliked: One of the guys at the service desk was very rude. The location was extremely hard to find, even with a taxi driver that said he knew the area took up over 35 min driving up and down the street trying to find it. There is a small sign about 12 inches by 18 inches that says Kuldeep.

Liked: Really excellent hotel. The rooms are big, comfortable bed, new television and a good size bathroom. Very safe location. The whole hostel is very clean.The staff are amazing, they really were genuine. They helped me with everything I asked for. Airport Transfer was huge help..highly recommended.

Disliked: very cold

Liked: arrived middle of the night & staff welcomed nicely , rooms are clean with window & nice view , staff in Kuldeep hostel is very helpful specialy Ryan .adviced me lots of important stuff & showed me delhi`s night life overall i would say one of the best hostel i ever stays in .. definatly coming back there ..

Liked: There is reception 24 hours. It is located in a quaint back ally. The rooms are nice and big. The hot/warm water works most of the time.

Disliked: The owner was not happy with us for booking on the same day via this website. He said that HostelBookers has a mistake and we shouldn't be able to book the same day. He let us stay with our reservation, but he was not happy. Also, the wi-fi works about 50% of the time (4 AM - ??) and the staff does not want to talk about it.

Liked: Wow, incredible place. At least for India. Have been to many Guest Houses all around India and have never seen such a friendly and relaxed staff. On top the location is great, easy to find and the rooms are reasonably clean. We are talking about and budget accomondation in India. For that it is just perfect!

Disliked: nothing at all !

Liked: The location. In the middle of the Bazaar street in the old city. (the place most backpackers stay in Dehli). The room we got was basic, but ok for India. Hot water in the shower was a good thing for the cold periode we were here.

Disliked: We were moved to another place owned by the same person, without being asked. One of the staff is quite strange, moody and not friendly. You don¨t feel like hanging around more than you have to.

Liked: Was a real adventure turning down a narrow street off the main bizar to find local children running around, drinking milk and eating cookies while there dad's are cooking food in the middle of the walk way. The staff were really kool, welcoming and laid back. Western style toilet, clean enough for an Indian Hostel and had a TV!!! the first and only hostel I found to have TV. I had a good stay here. Peace.

Liked: This is a property with basic facilities, butwas a good budget place to stay. The staff were quite helpful when we arrived without any luggage.

Disliked: It does take a bit of navigation to find it for the first time.

Liked: Hostel was great. It really ticked all the boxes. The best part was definitely the staff, helpful, friendly, honest and always more then willing to lend a hand for whatever you need. Their service was very thorough and it was also the small touches that made it stand out. You'll see for yourself.
