Liked: It's in the quarter near the train station.

Disliked: It was very dirty, guy on reception fooled us as we asked for the official train ticket counter -> sent us to a shady travel agency!

Liked: absolutely nothing.

Disliked: this place was disgusting. the manager was extremely rude & unwelcoming, the rooms were filthy and not worth the money. i actually ventured out and found somewhere much cleaner and nicer to stay for the same price they were asking at kuldeep. save your time and money and avoid kuldeep. also they redirected me to another guesthouse named "new kings" just another dodgy scam i say, don/t bother.

Liked: Super friendly and helpful staff - among the first people iv met in India that dont have (even deep down and hidden) an ulterior motive to screw you over, sell you tickets, take you to their shop or their friends shop... just nice! Room is fine for the money and has hot water - such a luxury! Good location in the tourist area of Pahar Ganj - as a woman travelling alone I felt totally safe there even at night. Close to a metro too.

Liked: The guy who runs the business is very helpful and funny. The location near main bazaar is great, just a few meters through the dark alleyways. It is better not to arrive at night, because there are a lot of strange guys hanging around.

Disliked: We were transfered to the "New King" building and did not really stay in Kuldeep Guest House. Not at all like on the pictures! It was very dirty, no hot shower, just hot water in buckets and also not for 24h. No clean sheets, no windows, very noisy.

Liked: By far and away, the highlight of this property was the guy running it, Sunny. He was very helpful, always on hand if you needed him, and just a pretty cool guy all round. The rooms were great, comfy and with hot water, which was a nice change from some of the other places...

Disliked: The only problem was finding it the first time as it is down a maze of streets, but once you had found it once, it became quite fun going down the shop lined alleys to get to the hotel.

Liked: Excellent staff, especially the guy who is always in the hostel during the day to night, so helpful and really friendly!!

Disliked: It was kind of dirty, sheets werent the cleanest. But we complained and got moved rooms so all ended well.

Liked: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very kind and the rooms were clean. This was also one of the only places we had hot showers during our trip.

Disliked: I have no complaints. It was a great place to stay.

Liked: Nice staff, Internet, clean afer all.

Disliked: Bathroom - although it was not particularly dirty, I did not have confidence it was clean. Wet walls and a hole in the wall (a place for missing fan or A/C) caused that it was rather cold in February.

Liked: Staff are welcoming and very friendly. It's a great location, secure, walking distance from main station - cross the road and go up to the fork, take left, it's on your right hand side. Above all fantastic value and a live marching band practices outside the front door! Great fun!

Disliked: Be aware you may be taken immediately to New King hotel (which is part of Kuldeep) but its only a few meters away. Don't let this put you off a great hotel stay in the town centre.

Liked: Clean comfortable room, friendly manager and staff. Location's fine - even at night, didn't feel unsafe at all. Would recommend.

Liked: After a traumatic begining to my adventure in india it was a relief to meet Sunny and Lucky who were extremely warm and friendly. They were also very resourceful and helpful allowing me to fully enjoy my time in Delhi. I cannot recommend thier hotel enough and if i'm ever in Delhi again i will most certainly be staying there again. Thanks guys

Liked: The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My flight got changed, so I only stayed and was charged for one night.

Disliked: In a back alley and didn't feel all that safe.

Liked: Great service. Very friendly staff. Rooms were more than I expected. Very confortable and TV and Hot Shower in room. The staff was extremely helpfull in creating an itenerary while in Delhi and arranging for transportation. I would recomend you take the transportation provided by hotel. Public transportation is a hastle and you might end up somewhere else if you just take any cab at the airport. Rates a very cheap and I advise to take the full day hotel taxi service to visit around town. Its Cheap!!

Liked: Staff were friendly and lent us R2000 when we arrived as the ATM was "closed." They did however take us to a non-government tourist office, claiming that it was a branch of the 88 Janpath office, which was also "closed." The guy was there to pick us up from the airport on time, although we had to stop for 20 mins for fuel.

Disliked: The bathroom was dirty. The showerhead was crusted up with limscale. We could hardly see our faces in the mirror because of the water marks. The beds and pillows were hard and stained. On our final night we were kept awake literally all nightvby other guests... not directly the fault of the guesthouse management but steps should have been taken to reduce the noise from the inconsiderate guests.

Disliked: Dirty and loads of stairs and extremely noisy at night.

Liked: Computers were usually available, bed was ok (in New Kings Guest House), location is very good (just next to main bazaar)

Disliked: You may be transferred to another (nearby) hostel, which belongs to the same group of hostels. I booked Kuldeep Guest House but was transferred to New Kings Guest house. Maybe better so. In New Kings Sunny and Lucky were always happy and helpful, which I cant say of the staff in Kuldeep. Sheets had not been changed to my bed when I arrived.

Liked: For a hostel of this type to have wifi and hot water was really exciting for us! Also to finish up any last minute shopping or tasks before leaving India fthe location was prime - right in the market and really close to the metro. Also the airport pick up was a smooth bonus for us. Great value overall!

Disliked: Kind of loud in the surrounding alleys. But... That's India

Liked: very friendly and helpful staff, ok location in the pahar ganj area. the prices i got from hotel staff were actually in the line with prices from the streets (taxis etc), maybe a little higher (speaking about ten or twenty rupees).

Disliked: it's not very clean, as you could except, and the hot water was not working for me. Not recommended for inexperienced travelers :)

Liked: Kuldeep is a very nice place to stay in the travelers center in Delhi. I can recommend to other travelers because of the always helpful staff and very fair price. The main thing they want is you to be happy and relaxed. The location is also very good, because in one narrow street, like this you can be sure that it is quite, no noise.

Disliked: Nothing really

Liked: - good value for money; don't expect too much from a really cheap hostel; - hot shower availible - management was very friendly and didn't charge extra money for delay in check-out time; - wi-fi (but was unavailible on 3rd flore)

Disliked: - location is pretty difficult to find, and it little bit scarry to go outside alone. But nevertheless, rooms were pretty ok.
