Liked: cheap hotel to book

Disliked: very far from airport, expensive to book with them a taxi pickup from airport. aggressive receptionist who kept pushing for me to go see his "travel agency" connection. I got in a minor argument with him because I didn't want to book anything with that agency,. I booked 2 nights at the hostel, but on the first night, I was placed at one of their other hostels (Maltem) and the second night, I was placed in New King Hostel. Maltem was a joke, as I was placed in a room that looked like it used to be a kitchen, that was made into a tiny room. It was dingy and dirty,

Liked: Friendly relaxed atmosphere with a nice host, Ryan. We were upgraded for free and the room was nice. Hot water in the shower, working wi-fi on the lower levels. Fairly clean. Can't beat the price!

Disliked: LOUD air con! However it was a quiet area. Wifi doesn't work about floor 2.

Liked: Location was ok

Disliked: Really hard to find. Rude staff. Was not staying in Kuldeep but their sister hotel which was a dump. My plug socket was so loose I couldn't charge my phone, the sink tap didn't work so had to brush my teeth with the foot tap, room had never been dusted or properly cleaned, hostel was so noisy I was woken up throughout the night even through ear plugs. Oh and the staff were very rude.

Liked: Very centrally located, close to the New Delhi Station, basic but sufficient for our transit stay in Delhi. Good value for money. We had night flight and they even offered us to have shower and rest before we left for the airport (after check-out) for free.

Disliked: When we arrived, they took us to another hostel (Hostel New King).

Liked: I found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Being 60 and disabled with cancer I would happily recommend this place to others. I have travelled independently and this was an excellent start to my journey, in India

Liked: This was my first experience in India, and I arrived two days before the rest of my friends. I got a transfer at 3 am to the hotel, which was extremely helpful, as I was a woman traveling alone. The rest of the stay was so comforting. The room was great, free wi.fi, the attention, making me feel as if I was at home. Really a great deal, priceless!

Disliked: all was fine..

Liked: They are the only men I can believe in Delhi. They are really honest and goodkind. This hotel is cheaper than any other in Delhi (I have cheaper only once and not going to repeat). Cleaness is ok that means very good for Paharganj.

Disliked: Oh, God, why all cheap hotels are in this place!?

Liked: The staff is great! They helped me so much when I arrived to New Delhi. They are actually always willing to collaborate and are very attentive of their guests without expecting anything back from them. I enjoyed the stay. highly recommended.

Liked: Great service they offered, the room was clean. I was surprised by their hospitality. They took care about everyone. The room was nice, I felt safe there. They offered a very cheap pick up transport was helpful , Towel and linen were free and the bathroom was really clean , free wi.fi I would definitely book this hostel again, if I came back to Delhi. Cheers!

Liked: Sonny, the staff guy was really nice, ordered us a pizza, ordered us a taxi, good location, and clean. Next to shops and anything you need in delhi, we would for sure stay here again.

Liked: It was at the main bazar, were all the hostels/hotels are in Delhi so that's good. Difficult to find if you want to do it on you're one, but the people who walk there are very helpfull.

Disliked: The bathroom was dirty, but he, you're in India. The travelingagency they send you is not the cheapest way to arrange your traintickets to your next location. They said to us that we had to go there because it is so difficult to get tickets, and that is true. But at the trainstation there is a special tourism desk were they keep some tickets free for tourists. So first think before you let them take you to there.

Liked: Good locations, organised airport pick-up for us in the middle of the night for decent price. You get exactly what you pay for, an extremely cheap backpackers hostel, don't expect anything fancy.

Disliked: would have been extremely difficult to find without Airport Pick-up

Liked: I stayed here for 2 nights and was very impressed all in all. We arranged an airport collection that turned up on time and was in a nice vehicle with seatbelts! The hotel itself it quite clean by Indian standards and the rooms are nice and spacious with all mod cons. The staff were friendly The location was really good 10 minutes to from India gate & ciy centre There are loads of shops and bars close by so all in all a great and very convenient location.

Disliked: nothing..

Liked: Spent two nights at the Kuldeep friends Hostel. Rooms were very clean and everything was designed with Westerners in mind. Many of staff spoke English and 24 Hr fun at the reception, front desk gave good advice on what to see, how to get, and what fares were reasonable to pay

Disliked: amazing staff

Liked: Nice staff and fair prices. Because the hotel is recommended by lots of travellers, you meet a lot of nice people and the hotel has a credability they don't want to waste. Internet cafe and wifi inside the building. The area is a little bit ruf, but I didn't mind that.

Disliked: tipical indian location.

Liked: This hostel is close to the main bazaar and new delhi station. good location

Disliked: is not very good cleaned and a lot of bugs which put me off. The manager should more care about rooms to be cleaned better.

Liked: Good hotel, good location and friendly staff with good facilities. over all i am satisfied with hotel services, as i have stayed in shorter duration. location wise it nearer to new delhi railway station, good in cleanness and feee wi.fi

Liked: The location was really nice, right in the heart of the bazaar.

Disliked: The bathroom was by far the worst i've had since i've been in India. A shower that doesn't work and a toilet that overflows when you let the faucet run to try to wash yourself. I had the room on the ground floor, next to the reception room/common room and there was noise at all hours of the night.

Liked: We felt really pampered as every body in this hotel seemed keen to answer any questions that we might have.They gave us loads of information on travel to different parts of india for our next visit to India which is in December (Hopefully) and surely recomended new king hotel it was our first time in india for 1 week & they made our stay memorable

Liked: We arrived at half four in the morning tired and ready for bed. Lovely clean large room. The staff were great and made us so welcome. The hostel had arranged our Airport pick up and that worked really. A definate must for your stay in Delhi. Just near the metro so good transport links highly recommended.

Disliked: everything was great ...!

Liked: The location is very good. Right in the middle of the city and very close to the New Delhi trainstation with the Airport Express Metro.

Disliked: It's very hard to find because the hostel is in a backally. And the description of the location isn't very accurate. Cleanliness is very basic. Not bad but just barely what you would expect for that price.
