Liked: This place was an absolute sanctuary - we were warmly welcomed and staff went out of their way to clean our room early so we could check in. Everything as beautifully kept and very clean. We loved the atmosphere and it proved to be very close to everything, despite being in "aSouth Kolkata" - do not let that put you off! Woulod definately return. Thank you Mr Ravi and staf!

Liked: Art works very lovely to look at, but no comfortable chairs in the communal areas - only small child size wooden stools. Chef was very good at his job! Internet access good too.

Liked: the staff are very accomodating and eager to serve. meals are excellent. the rooms are the best i've stayed in in calcutta. my first 2 nights i was treated to a free upgrade because the couple in my room couldn't bear too leave---and i can't blame them. i will surely stay at bodhi tree on all my return trips to calcutta.
