Liked: The owner joshi is a great man, the staff are helpful, the atmosphere is great and you are right below the fort. I slept on the rooftop which was a very new experience

Disliked: The prices seem to have risen this year.

Liked: Very helpful staff. The roof-top restaurant is awesome and renders a wonderful view of the fort. Thank you Aunty for making our stay very comfortable! We appreciate it.

Liked: Awesome roof top restaurant with great view of fort especially at dusk. Could see monkeys and bats moving around. Highly recommended value for money stay in Jodhpur.

Disliked: Steep 5 min walk from rickshaw so be prepared to carry your bags (be prepared and it won't be a problem).

Liked: The rooftop restaurant is a must....great food, great view, great service!

Disliked: The prices are a bit high....but it's ok....and the incredible amount of stairs and uphill you need to walk to get there....but is part of the game.

Liked: Had communal showers in reception so even when you have checked out that morning if you are getting a train in the evening you can shower after a hot day in jodhpur! They're right by the front door though by the reception desk so you need to be comfortable walking round in a towel infront of people you don't know!!

Disliked: After a long train journey had to carry my big backpack up a hill to get there as it is at the top of a windy road up a very steep slope & the rickshaws can't get there!! There were ants crawling out of the pillows and when I woke up there was blood on the sheet from all the insects I had rolled over & killed in the night! Staff weren't overly friendly & tried to charge us for water & laundry that we hadn't had! Rooftop terrace was nice but only one fan worked up there & there was no staff up there so couldn't order drinks or food!

Liked: The location was OK in a quiet area, the rooftop was nice

Disliked: When I arrived they didn't have my booked room available, just a better room so they wanted me to pay more that night. I denied. At check-out the owner tried to charge me the double price for my room every night. I showed him my confirmation and he said it was a fake. So he checked the reservation on hostelbookers and told me that in a shared room I have to pay all beds!? It's sad that even the owner doesn't know how things work. After some discussion he accepted the confirmed price...without any apologize for the trouble.

Liked: Nice roof top terrace. The front desk was very friendly and let us leave our bags and come back for a shower before our overnight train.

Disliked: The hot water was not hot. Was perhaps a little pricey for what it was.

Liked: The location was excellent - with a view of the Fort from the rooftop restaurant and only about 20 minutes walk through the winding alleyways to the clocktower. We stayed in a fan room, which had an extra "desert cooling" air blaster - which made the room as cool as AC, but for half the price. Great night's sleep.

Disliked: We stayed at low season so was it was quiet, not many other people to meet. The staff were helpful enough but not amazingly friendly...

Liked: Warm and friendly, catering mainly to a younger clientel. Good location, clean, good food and great views of the Jodhpur Fort.

Liked: The guest house has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy delicious meal. The place is good organized for every kind of necessary.

Liked: great location with a nice view of the blue city and the fort. Wide range of services, good food.

Disliked: The manager lost my paper hotel voucher and the bill he gave us at the end of our stay was much higher that expected. He did not seam to care very much about that and actually send one of his staff members to deal with us instead. We had to access the intitial Hotel bookers voucher online to prove that the final bill should have been 600 rupies less.

Liked: It was a safe and quiet place. Hot water. TV in the room. Lively paintings on the wall. Good Indian family run place. Roof top was nice with nice paintings. Homely place.

Disliked: A litte unclean but was manageable as I got the room for a cheap price. Tea mugs and trays were dirty. Electrical socket did not work and they did not fix it for me. Food was a bit expensive. I had to asked to change the sheets as they were dirty. Otherwise the room was big enough,free WIFI, hot shower, nice family, nice rooftop, secured environment and lovely paintings made me overlook the negativities. I and my husband understand that it cant be perfect, we paid Rs 550 per night..but the Rs 750 room is better but ask them to change the sheets if they are dirty. It is not that bad as we got this room for a cheap price.

Liked: Premises was actually cozy. It was clean and well worth the money, plus it had a great view of the fort from the roof top restaurant.

Disliked: It was a bit far from everything else.

Liked: Nice and quite. 15-20 min walk to market area(clocktower). Friendly staff:) Got "free" WiFi.

Liked: Nice old Rajasthani building with excellent views of fort and nice roof top restaurant/sitting area. Genuinely friendly helpful family and to top it all off free wi-fi internet.

Disliked: Food expensive and only of a medium standard.

Liked: The room and the bed linen were clean and they had hot water at all times of the day.

Disliked: The hotel was located quite a distance from the town, but it was easy enough to walk to all sites and restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was average at best.

Liked: Helpful staff, light airy room, HOT WATER (many places in India said they did but didn't), secure verandah (we could leave the door open all night for fresh air), quiet, excellent book exchange, great atmosphere

Liked: Very comfortable, nice rooms with a bit of character for a change, and amazing rooftop lounge and restaurant.

Disliked: A very steep climb up a hill but well worth it.

Liked: The view from the very top is amazing - especially early in the morning during sunrise! So although it's not the cheapest in town, it's worth to go there!
