Liked: Historic building, spacious room, reasonable meals.

Disliked: We booked a driver through the hotel to take us to see temples on the way to Udaipur. Not a good idea - the driver could hardly speak English, his car was too small and hot and we were happy to be rid of him sooner than later.

Liked: Lovely rooftop view. Only 15min stroll up to the Mehrangarh Fort. Free internet. Gorgeous room with marble floor plus mini balcony. Good omelette & bananas for breakfast. Free pick-up from the station.

Disliked: Only a small thing: we wanted to pay the day before we left because of a v early train but was told we can only do so after 8pm.

Liked: We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was clean and safe. The roof top was a great place to have dinner and breakfast. The owners were kind and very friendly. I rang them the day before we arrived and they offered to pick us up from the station at 11:00pm! Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. A real treat.

Liked: Rooftop terrace is great. Room was light, airy and spacious. The hotel courtyard is a peaceful oasis right next to a very busy market. Great location near to shopping.

Liked: Location is great with a rooftop restaurant providing lovely view of the fort. Rooms are clean and traditionally/tastefully decorated. The best thing is the friendliness and service provided by the staff, the most genuine and efficient I've had in India. The little window in the bathroom allowing you to see the fort while showering comes a close second!Well recommended.

Liked: We had the most amazing time in this hotel. The staff go out of their way to help with further travel arrangements, and are incredibly kind and generous with their time. The room was spotless, beautiful and very quiet. The whole stay was very relaxing, the food was excellent and the view from the rooftop restaurant was unbeatable. This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 months in India, and we would highly recommend it. We would definately stay here again. Thank you Narpat!

Liked: The location was right in the chaotic heart of the busiest part of Jodhpur, yet within the walls of the haveli was a peaceful sanctuary. It was great.

Liked: We were made to feel very welcome by all the friendly staff. The roof top restaurant had stunning views of the fort and excellent good value food. Our bedroom was immaculate and had an amazing view of the fort. Of all the nplaces we have stayed in India this has to be the best.

Liked: This was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our 1 month visit in India. It's a really beautifull havelli run by a friendly family (which are distant relatives of the maharadja, which sometimes comes over for a visit). The room and bathroom were big, clean and nicely decorated. Because of the enormous windows the room was also bright and had an exellent view on the castel (room number 7). The location cannot be better (next to the clocktower), inside the havelli it's really quiet and the price is really good for what you get.
