Want to stay in a Colonial Bungalow with rooms with a view.

This House or Colonial Bungalow was built in early 40’s by Late Th.Madho Singh ji of Bhenswara as his personal and family residence in Jodhpur. The house was designed by a well known English architect Mr.Goldstow, made in Pink & Red sand stone. The house has beautiful gardens and lawns surrounded by big green trees.

Today a part of the building has been very nicely converted into a small budgeted Hotel. Dalvir Singh and his family members who lives in a part of the building and they treat you as their personal guests to make you feel at home and comfortable.

On the cuisine front the Hotel offers Ethnic Dishes to tickle your palate at the “VILLAGE” Rajasthani Dishes, Indian Cuisine and the HOST’S SPECIALITIES. One can order Madho Niwas‘s Famous Marwari Bar be que chicken or try the toasted cheese sandwiches, beverages, tea coffee , lassi or fix menu meals. Gala dinners could be organized with folk dance & music on advance order.One can enjoy his meals in the dining room, in the Garden or around the pool side courtyard.

We have sixteen double rooms with A/C & Air cooled facility with attached toilets with a good view of the garden.other facilities include--Doctor on call,Transport, 24 hour room service, ample car/bus parking ,laundry, postal etc.

We organize half day village tour guided and unguided ones to the nearby villages. One can see the Bishnoi Tribes on their farms & villages, the potters village, the sheperd village, durie makers and a lot of desert wild life like chinkara antelope the blue bull. The magnificent black buck, peacocks partidges, demoiselle cranes and a lot of other birds and animals in the wild . Probably the only way to have a good in depth glimpse into the Rural life in a short time.
