Overview

Hotel Jeetmahal has 6 lovely rooms, and is in a great location just outside the Fort gates, and is very close to the markets and the main attractions in Jaisalmer.

The hotel is an old heritage building which was built in the first decade of the eighteenth century by Jeetmal Bissa, who served as an architect at the Royal Palace of Jaisalmer.
He surprisingly constructed this fabulous Haveli in his spare time, when he was not required to attend the Royal Palace. The haveli has jharokhas of exquisite carvings and this heritage haveli still has a wonderful atmosphere of old Jaisalmer.

Credit cards are not accepted, on arrival cash payments only.

Accommodation Information

Hotel Jeetmahal has six lovely rooms, all with ceiling fans, and two with air conditioning. All rooms are made from natural Jaisalmer stone, and all have attached modern bathrooms with showers, toilet and washbasin, hot and cold water, towels and toiletries. Bathrooms are spacious and airy.

Some rooms have a king sized bed, some double and one single. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. An extra bed is possible in most rooms. Each room has a window, some with a balcony overlooking the market. Electric heaters are provided in winter, and each room has an electric mosquito repellent device. A “do not disturb” or “clean my room” sign is provided. Each room has a secure lock.

Rooms are decorated in lovely Jaisalmer style, with most attractive bed covers, cushions and curtains.

24 hour room service is available, and is easily accessed from our intercom system to every room.
