Liked: Except the location (which is close to the beach and market place) nothing is good. Not at all recomandable.

Disliked: Except the location (which is close to the beach and market place) nothing is good. Not at all recomandable. The room which we booked online and the room which we were offered were completely different. The room had no balcony, no tables, no chairs and the room was a total disappointment. Very bad experience with the lady recopsonist. Non cooperating. when we said that the room which is shown on the website was good and we wanted similar rooms, she said no rooms vacant. Then what is the use of booking online?????

Liked: Manager/owner is very friendly and responsive to requests. Food in the roof-top restaurant is good quality and excellent value for money

Disliked: We stayed there during diwali celebrations, so the hotel was a little crowded and noisy at times

Liked: Good location near the beach and town of Colva. Clean sheets and a clean bathroom. Sham in the restaurant was very talkative and helpful but the reception staff were not so accommodating. All in all a good hostel with the bonus of a TV for when the weather is bad-which it was.

Disliked: Nothing, a good little hostel

Liked: Great value, particularly as it was the New Year period! We did book way in advance though. We weren't aware a free breakfast was included which was a pleasant surprise. The receptionist, Raj was very helpful and friendly. It was a great location, being so close to the beach and loads of restaurants.

Disliked: It isn't the best place to stay at if you want to meet other travellers. Mostly older couples and Indians were staying there whilst we were there.

Liked: We had a really nice stay. The hotel is near the beach, the staff are very kind and helpful, especially the owner, he is always ready to help. The restaurant in the garden is awesome. We had the best stay and the best food in India at La Ben. Many thanks for all the staff.

Liked: The owner foremost...The Chief Mr. Lawrence is one faboulos guy, perfect host and a cool dude. Sharp as a raser, friendly and helpfull. Keeps the place going smothly like a SWISS clock. Rajiw and the other guys make the stay at the resort worth every second. Guys...thank you.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: Location

Disliked: Was very noisy @ night as near a main road. When we had our laudry done 3 items came back with stains on them.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and suggested near by places to eat/use internet. The location is great - very central and less than 5 mins to beach and surrounded by bars/restaurants/shops etc.

Disliked: The sheets on the beds were dirty and the rooms in general could be cleaner. The main issue was that the website says there is internet and a rooftop bar and restaurant - this was not true when we stayed there.

Liked: Rooms were ok!! got laundry done and stunk of smoke when handed back. Told manager who just started shouting and asked us to check out even though it was 2 hours before check out time. "Benny" was extreemely rude and agressive and then tried to overcharge us for the room, A complete dissapointment from this hotel and would not reccommend it to anyone!

Liked: If you want a decent accomodation for a limited price, La Ben Resort is a very good choice. And the open air restaurant seemed to be visited by other hotels' guests.

Liked: The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was ok. I did not like the fact that you have to pay separately for a safe deposit locker. The (included) breakfast was not worth mentioning as it is only jam/butter toast and a small juice. I think they can easily offer a better breakfast for the price we pay for the room. This would greatly improve my appreciation for the hotel.

Liked: cost, close proximity to beach, feels safe, clean, regular linen change.some staff were friendly and helpful where as the waiter in the restaurant was incredibly rude-we just didnt eat there.
