Liked: Nice garden bungalows, very green environment.

Disliked: There was no net covering the bed, despite there were very big moskitos. Don't forget the possibility of acquiring Malaria in these regions.

Liked: There was the option there to chat to other guests or to remain secluded. It has a very tropical atmosphere with unobtrusive owners yet would always go that extra mile (literally - like a trip to chemist) if required. Nothing is too much. Thanks to Peter, Jessie and Dilippe - Well Done!

Liked: nıce staff. beautıful garden atmosphere. ı was sıck most of the tıme we were here and peter was very helpful and concerned, even offerıng me the number of hıs doctor ıf ı needed ıt. ıt raıned everyday we were ın vagator and the plethora of TV channels kept us from goıng too crazy.

Disliked: not a whole lot. ıt was not rıght on the beach lıke ı thought but maybe ı read ıt wrong. the power cuts suck, but that has nothıng to do wıth the hostel. that's ındıa.

Liked: We had a very nice stay here. Very close to the beach and near some bar's where u can meet people. The gardon area is nice. The room is fine a clean bed, space in the room and a bathroom which was a good size.Also a tv in the room however it didnt work and didnt get fixed.We did plan to go back there on are way back from going more south.Even thou i thought it was abit to much money for what it was.we got a bike for the day very good price only 100rs.

Disliked: Well we went to stay there again. However when we turned up they said a high price more than wot we paid the first time.Also they didnt even say hello or anything.which i thought was very rude as we had stayed there a while and said we would come back. So we went to another place for half the price and it was very nice.So they lost a lot of business there as we had friends with us too so an extra room and would have stayed 5nights.(ohh well they lost out but if they was friendly on are return and kept same price we would have stayed again)One other day thing was when they give you the bike it has no petrol and didnt tell us where we could find some, Thought they might have filled it up abit.

Liked: a great place to stay for a few nights. you can reach most things from the northenpart of goa very fine. just rent a bike and go, you can use the roomservice (great food)

Liked: A huge thanks to Peter & Jesse. We had a great stay at Boon's Ark and stayed for three weeks instead of one. A centrally located hostel in Vagator where everything is in walking distance and you can hire scooters to visit places further affield.I always felt very welcome here and was quite sad to go.I would definitely recommend Boon's Ark to everyone.Graham & Maggie

Liked: Everyone who goes to Goa, should live in any case at Peter and its family. The atmosphere is very good. The small Bungalows are cleanly and beautifully furnished. Peter is absolutely endeavored, that you feeling very well. There is only a few minutes to the beach. The environment is beautiful. Peter has also cheap Bikes to rent. We will in any case again come.

Liked: We arrived there mid October. The pictures on the website looked promising, but in fact it is a very small place with very basic houses. And the garden? Well, there are plants surrounding the houses and surrounding the pathways to the houses. But I wouldn't call it a garden. The room was also smelly! Left there after 1 night instead of the 3 reserved nights. Vagator is also a place where there's not much to see in the mid of October. Few people, empty bars and empty restaurants etc. I wouldn't recommend it. Didn't get the money back from the 2 nights we normally stayed more because " the rooms were reserved" and no one else could book the room. Strange reaction if you take in account if there was only 1 other couple staying there and all other rooms were empty...

Liked: beautiful setting and really frienbdly staff, it is family run and they really care about the place and their customers, they were on hand at any time of day and it was our favourite place to stay in the whole of goa.

Liked: Atmosphere and staff. Owners Pete and Jessie are just amazing. They gave so much information about things and places in Goa. The garden is maintained well and rooms are cleaned time to time. We loved our stay. Thanks to Pete and Jessie for the bottle of vodka!

Liked: EVERYTHING! Boon's Ark was PERFECT! The host Peter and his family were lovely and helped us in countless ways from recommending the best beaches, lending a motorbike very cheaply and generally making sure we had a brilliant time. The room was really clean and the gardens are gorgeous. The location is great, just down a quiet street from the nearby bars and restaurants. I'd happily recommend this place to anyone, it was really great and I'm very glad I stayed there.
