Liked: Brilliant, the staff are very helpful, the rooms are basic, but comfortable, with a great little terrace with a hammock where you can sit and chill. Rent a scooter (very cheap) and you can get to all of the beautiful surrounding areas. We originally wanted to stay for 3 nights but extended our stay to a week. Enough said!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Really great staff. Maria and John are lovely, chatty and helpful. The hostel had a good location, just 2 mins to local town walking and 10 mins to the beach.

Disliked: WIFI was really hit and miss. Room was only cleaned once a week and that was because we asked for it to be cleaned, could do with cleaning rooms every few days to eliminate bugs.

Liked: I loved it! John and Maria are the perfect hosts. We arrived straight from a long journey and it was great to be met with warmth and friendliness (and a cup of tea) on our arrival. We had a double en suite which was clean and good value for money. It's a little walk to the beach, but we didn't mind this as it was nice to get a feel of the village. Often other travellers milling around the guesthouse as well so good if you're travelling alone and want to meet other people. I would definitely stay here again (sad to leave!)

Liked: the staff are great. they are flexible, accomodating, nice, interesting to converse with, helpful, anything you need they help.

Liked: The Lady at the guest house was very welcoming and helpful, we have had lots of queries and she was always happy to help. The rooms are clean and a good standard with cable TV, we were meant to be staying just 3 nights but have ended up staying 3 more nights. The location is good lots of restaurants and shops nearby and only ten minutes drive from the saturday night market and other beaches in the area. A home away from home.

Liked: Good location, clean room, relaxing atmosphere, free wifi, value for money. Above all, the hotel owner Maria is very kind to the guests. I wanted to explore North Goa and she has given me very useful travel tips. My fellow neighbour who wanted to do yoga said Maria had recommended her a very good yoga class too. Good advice is the best value a hostel can offer. Silver Moon delivers.

Liked: Maria and her husband are the friendliest person on earth. Warm and welcoming, always helpful. We enjoyed the stay so much that we came back after 2 days. It's definitely worth the money.

Disliked: Sometimes ants in the shared bathroom.

Liked: You couldn't ask for a nicer couple like John and Maria who runs this place. It has a nice homey charm, and is very clean compared to many of the other hotels or hostels in India.

Disliked: it's about a 15 minute walk before you can get to the beach, which makes walking back at night a chore.

Liked: Maria is a fantastic host, the rooms are clean and comfortable, it is easy to meet other travellers there. Have to give a big thank you to Maria, she was very patient with us when we were making noise in the hostel, was always super friendly and eager to help. Thanks!

Liked: Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. If you need anything they'll go out of their way to help you. It has a nice lobby too which is a good place to meet other hostel goers.

Liked: The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They will help with organising trips and taxi's when necessary. It is close to the main strip containing bars and supermarkets. The beach is also in walkable distance.

Liked: great people running the place, and thusly great people staying here... whatever you need, the hosts can provide (or at least tell you how to get it, or arrange it for you)... maria and john made me feel as if i was home, so much i extended my trip by 5 days... i would certainly stay here again...

Liked: Maria and John are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Having them bring you a coffee to your room in the morning is especially nice!

Disliked: A bit pricy compared to other properties and a bit far from the beach.

Liked: I spent 3 nights here two weeks ago. All in all a great hostel with a great location. Only a short walk to the beach and clubs etc. Stayed in a private room which was clean etc. It is a social environment and the owners were very helpful and welcoming. Thanks for a great stay and Goa experience

Liked: Maria was helpful. Nice backyard with good rooms. Each room has a terrace or balcony with chairs, I liked that. Colourful. Pretty close to the beach and stuff like internet, std and restaurants.

Disliked: No towels or toilet paper.

Liked: We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 9! We really liked the place. The rooms were comfortable and the service very friendly. Thank you Maria and John for a lovely stay.

Disliked: Anjuna has frequent power cuts and the wifi could have been included in the room rate, the shared bathroom only had cold showers!
