Liked: The staff of the guest house were very friendly and helpful. Once the owner knew that I wanted to eat momo, he quickly wrote down two restaurants' name for me. Also, he let me use his computer when he found that I couldn't use the WiFi in the common roomsuddenly. Apart from the above, the breakfast included was nice too.

Disliked: When compared with other guest house in Darjeeling, the price of the Snow Lion Homestay is not the cheapest. Also, it was out of electricity occasionally.

Liked: We traveled in many places in India, but this hotel was the one that felt like home. we were budget travelers and it was a little bit expensive, but it was clean, very nice staff, good location and it just felt homelike, which is pretty difficult in India.

Liked: The decor of the rooms and common areas was very nice traditional tibetan. The staff arranged for all my tour and driver needs. It does not feel like a hostel but a real guest house.

Liked: The staff were so welcoming and lovely. We had trouble getting there as there was a strike and our driver go lost. When we rang they directed the driver there and when we pulled in the whole family was waiting on the steps waving! It was such a nice welcome
