Adventure awaits at India's first national park and tiger reserve! This is one of the last surviving stretches of unspoilt lower Himalayan hinterland. Here, one can spot tigers while on an elephant safari, or settle down to some serious angling.

Named after one of the best tiger hunter and even more famous naturalist, Jim Corbett, the park is one of the favorite tourist spots of people from all over India and even to people from across the world.

Located at the foothills of the Himalayas, this wonderful sanctuary is home to some exotic variety of ferocious cats like the tiger and the leopard. Today tourism in the area is so developed that almost seventy thousand visitors come here annually.

Since it is located in the foothills of the Himalayas you can expect the temperature to be chilling cold in the winter. Nevertheless the beauty of Corbett National Park draws thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Location Information

India's first national park and the first sanctuary to come under Project Tiger, Corbett supports a variety of vegetation making it the ideal habitat for the Tiger and its prey.
