Liked: The friendleness of the family and the help in information about Cochin and surrounding areas. It was clean and basic.

Disliked: We didnt dislike the property but the lane way was a bit difficult to walk up when raining.

Liked: The family are lovely and will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The breakfasts each morning were fantastic, and Mrs Kuruvilla offered cooking classes as well as to do our laundry. Mrs Kuruvilla even made us lunch when strikes had forced the local stores shut, and invited us to join in their Christmas dinner at their beach house! Would definitely recommend this place if you are not concerned about staying in the tourist part of town. (They also have a beach house where they rent rooms to guests and it is lovely too!)

Liked: nice place and family.but if you want to visit fort cochin (and it's only nice there, ernakulam is ugly), you need to take the bus and the ferryboat always...

Liked: From the moment I walked in I was made to feel like one of the family. They went out of their way to help me in every way possible and to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I was treated as a good friend, not as a customer. Very highly recommended.

Liked: The hostel is different to any other in India. Its three rooms all with a common area, almost like an appartment. Theres a living room, kitchen, dining area and study with free internet 24 hrs a day. Its not really in a touristy area but the family who own it are more than happy to give any info you might need. They reserved our backwater trip for us and the breakfast is brilliant. Also the Chai is the best i have had in India! The family are so nice and friendly, with the cutest little boy!

Liked: The staff are friendly and extremely helpful and with two beautiful locations (one of which is a beach house!!!) this bed and breakfast is a must!! Definitely one of my favourite places ever.
