Welcome to Vedic Village, an eco-friendly resort situated in Kondungalloor. Vedic Village, is a resort surrounded by a plethora of ancient monuments, each one reminding you that Kerala is indeed god’s own country.

Our cottages are built and decorated in a traditional Kerala style which will remind you of a bygone era in all its simplicity and serenity.

Here you can sample the finest food, cooked and served with love, with one flavour standing out – the essence of Kerala.

Here the day breaks are calm and serene, elevating your mind and soul. Vedic village spreads over a wide canvas extending to a vast expanse of backwaters. Here you can watch the sunrise and set. Enjoy a wonderful stay in perfect calmness.

We offer boating rides that take you across the backwaters letting you feast your eyes upon the passing villages, pilgrim centers and the sheer beauty of the setting. House boats can also be provided on request.

We also have an area, where you can snuggle cosily with your favourite book and a cup of coffee to go with it. Here you can relax, play and chill out. Do your bidding in this space meant for recreation.

Guests can also rejuvenate senses with the age old ayurvedic therapies given by experienced doctors and specialists. Get the benefits of massages and other treatments in our spectacular spa.

At our restaurant you can savour the mouth watering Kerala cuisines at 'grandma's food court', cooked and served with love. Drop in and get a taste of authentic Kerala food. Chinese, Continental, and Indian dishes are also served.

We also offer a chivalrous service at the help desk where our warm and welcoming staff make you feel at home. Our 24 hour service in the reception caters to all your needs and sees to an enjoyable stay of yours.

The spectacular swimming pool facing the backwaters is the ideal spot to soothe your nerves with a dip in its cool water. The gentle breeze from the backwaters coupled with the Vedic ambience makes it a truly heavenly experience.

We have four different room types available for guests. All the rooms are equipped with the most modern amenities including air-conditioning, TV and telephone.

Room types:

-King's Nest

The King's Nest is a splendidly made cottage with seven rooms facing the swimming pool. With a posh interior and an innovatively done open bathroom the rooms are sure to lift your spirits. The breath taking view of the backwaters makes it all the more special. Truly fit for a king.

-Queen's Nest

A tastefully done cottage in a serene setting, that reminds you of a bygone era. That's Queen's Nest for you! The six rooms, complete with all modern amenities and artistic décor, it lets you unwind, in style!

-Kovilakom (Illom)

Two impressive dwellings built in the traditional Kerala way; the Kovilakoms are done completely in wood. Surrounded by trees and lush green lawns, it is reminiscent of the ancient Kovilakoms, Kerala has.

-Emperor's Nest

The most luxuriously done cottages of all, the Emperor's Nest is a combo of ethnic décor and modern amenities. Its plush interiors and rich furnishings give it a majestic look. Nestle in for a royal experience.
