Liked: _Phantastic beach, quiet pklace, nice people and very good food. It is one of the best places have been, really to advice!!!!

Liked: Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff. We did not realise it was a homestay, this was not really a problem but the quiet location means you are limited for choice if you wish to eat out.

Disliked: Remote location and we got a lot of hassle from local males which was a shame as the women and children were lovely.

Liked: the food is amazing...sajimon is a true master chef and his company is so enjoyable as well, having such an fantastic meal and great conversation what more can you ask for. we left our bathing suits there and mr kuravilla sent them to us at our next place in india; he will also help you in any other arrangements you need, very kind man. we stayed an extra three days because we lived it so much.

Disliked: nothing, just hard work for sajimon to cook for everyone when the power goes out...he is tireless

Liked: The hostel is away from town and across the road from the beach which makes it a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The meals available are delicious and varied giving you a taste of Kerala cuisine. The staff and owner are very helpful and able to assist with transport and tourist advice whenever needed.

Disliked: Nothing, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Liked: Everything! It was amazing! Like minded people, excellent food, location was really good too. Nice and relaxing, not too touristy, a hidden gem!

Disliked: Taxi driver found it hard to find the place. Make sure you get your taxi driver to call the house for directions etc.

Liked: It is a great place for those who look for a more remote place but still want to meet the other guests. The Hotel roof is a great place to hang around, eat and meet. Really a nice place to stay and the cooking is excellent!!!

Liked: This is a peaceful and gentle relaxing homestay. We could be ourselves and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing!! Excellent!

Liked: The rooms were lovely and clean with hot water bucket baths and cold showers. The beach was very isolated so you had alot of space to yourself - if you want to be on your own - this is the place to go!

Disliked: The lack of choice of facilities - especially food and drink - at the property. This would normally be OK, but it is very far from basic amenities.

Liked: This place was like an oasis!Staff, Food, Service all Amazing.Location was right on the beautiful beach, with the backwaters behind the house.They even came and met us at the train station when we were leaving to make sure we were getting on the right train!!

Liked: Kuzhupilly Beach house is located on Cherai Beach. The house is clean, there aren't too many people and the staff is excellent. They will organize tickets for shows or trips but they never push you to buy anything. A motorikshaw was called for us everyday to take us to the ferryboat. The food was great and Mr. Kuruvilla even organized a show with a magician for the last evening. If you like to be in a place that is outside of Cochin, friendly and quiet but with a reaonable connection to the city, COME TO KUZHUPILLY BEACHHOUSE!

Liked: Amazingly friendly , helpful Family staff. nothing too much trouble. if your looking for late nights, alcohol and partying - place not for you. IF your looking for beauty, peace and quiet, long sleeps and deserted beaches this place definately for upi. oh and Food excellent.
