Overview

Shri Ram Hotel provides cosy environment to its guests. Owned by a scion of the Bika family the hotel is an embodiment of Rajput culture and tradition.

The owner, a retired Brigadier, enjoys enlightening the visitors on a variety of subjects ranging from the history, culture and religion of Rajasthan on request. His interests are homeopathy, yoga, spiritual healing and shooting.

"Home away from home" is the motto of the Shri Ram. It has tastefully decorated spacious rooms, with attached baths having hot and cold running water. It is located in a calm, quiet residential area within 1.5 km. from the city center. with big open terrace upstairs make the stay memorable and nostalgic as has been with the tourists before you.There is a verY huge open space , one can use it as a sit-out. there is also a badminton court where one can enjoy a good game.Property type: Hotel

Can help you anything you need!! Nothing is impossible! Situated 5 km from
the centre of Bikaner on the Jaipur/Bikaner road the guest house is located
in a very guest part of town yet has easy, quick, cheap and frequent access
to Junagarh fort and the town centre at Rs 5 per head on sharing
basisfrequently running auto rickshaws into centre of town. Bicycles are
available at our guest house and free of charge.
For scooter It costs only for the amount of petrol used.. Maps are also
available for the day trips around Bikaner. An 80km round trip visiting
camel breeding farm, deshnoke (famous rat’s temple), Shiva temple
and
cenotaphe (Devi coond sagar). It costs around Rs. 100 by scooter. Camel
breeding farm 5km, Cremation ground of Maharaja is 3km, Lalgarh museum
and
laxmi niwas palace is 4km away from us. A popular route is Raisar to
Katriasar sand dunes on the Jaipur road, facing a fire dancers' village
My
uncle (Camel Man) arranges excellent camel safaris, jeep tours and cycling
in the desert using light weight 'igloo' tents, clean mattresses and
sheets, good food and guidance. You can see antelopes, colorful villages
and potters at work. There are 1/2 hr. camel rides to villages around
Bikaner, 4 hr-camel safari breaking for lunch on the dunes, full day
safaris with lunch, tea, dinner and log fire in the desert, 2-day safari
from Raisar, with tented stay at surdhana, returning to Bikaner via Balakya
Dhora sand dunes and Shivbari Temple, and 5-day safari from Bikaner to
Khichan connecting to buses from Phalodi to Jaisalmer. Equipments: All
imported equipments, we have 11 tents from Holland and England (Gifted
by
some of the tourist) and kitchen equipment, camping chairs etc. from
England Adam House.
