Liked: The location is perfect. Situated between the citycenter and the BSI Busterminal. Everything downtown can be reached by walk, even the Beach near the City Airport

Liked: it was new, clean, friendly, we had a great kitchen to cook our own food and its SO central. Staying for a whole week they looked after us really well

Liked: We stayed in a dorm room and a private room. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, towels and pillows were provided. The showers were hot and good. Breakfast was good.

Disliked: The kitchen is too small to be used for self-catering, though it is possible and does happen, it's just cramped and you have to wait for others to finish first.

Liked: It's location it's perfect, very close to BSI bus station and reykjavik downtown. the staff is very friendly and helpfull, so I recommend everyone to go there.

Liked: It's all little appartments and the dorms are small. Free wirelessNice warden

Disliked: One door of our room didn't lock. It' s incredibly noisy. People slam doors and are very loud. It's an old building so there's a lot of echo. It should really be specified to be careful with doors, steps and to absolutely shut up in the hallways after 11 pm.

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms/showers for the number of rooms. Bathrooms not well stocked - ran out of paper products and soap a couple times.

Liked: Siggy is a wonderful wonderful person! The hostel is very safe, very clean, and close to downtown. If you are looking for a quiet hostel (ie, no noisy people/backpackers yelling in the hallways) then this is the place for you. In addition, due to some construction work, I was given a nicer room than I had reserved and it was a wonderful treat!

Disliked: The hallways could use some carpet it echoes quite loudly whenever anyone opens/closes a door. The reception area is just some tables with a bit of coffee and tea and was always empty; not really conducive to meeting others, if that is what you are looking for.
