Liked: My late check in (1 am in the Reykjavik midnight sun) was taken care of -- the staff were accomodating and friendly, and the dorms were clean.

Liked: This is a good, peaceful and well-situated hostel for traveller who doesn't need luxury, lobby bar or nightclub. Breakfast is modest but very good - many +++ for the fresh, warm bread every morning. Hostel is clean and fairly well-kept, a good place to spend the nights between all the exciting day-tours.

Liked: Very nice clean rooms. Great central location. Only problem was that they lost our booking, but the man was very nice and we got a room even though it was after midnight.

Liked: Excellent location and very friendly staff. Dorms are very cramped with no safe place for values. Cooking facilities and breakfast were good. Double rooms were excellent, but the prices were prohibitive.
