Liked: Great location and a reasonable price near downtown Reykjavik. A mix of ages and nationalities staying there, though there was very little interaction among us. Good breakfast with a variety of cereal, fruit, and sandwich ingredients.

Liked: The two live-in owners of the hostel are extremely friendly and well-informed - it was like having a private tour guide! The rooms were clean and the hostel is centrally located. I would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Asta, the lady who runs the hostel, is wonderfully friendly and helpful, and she's a great hostess. The room was simple and clean; like everywhere in Reykjavik it is expensive by US standards, but it was priced correctly compared to other local options.

Liked: This was a very clean hostel which is always a plus, the breakfast included in the cost was good, presented nicely. The staff were relaxed & friendly. The location was really good considering the prices of other places in the area. I would recommend it if you want basic, clean & quite accommodation.
